  1. Perfectly put @Burns-bass I have a 72 P and the pickups changed, been resprayed and one pot changed but I knew this and it was priced accordlingly but still a gem to play
  2. Makes my asking price more than desirable ....
  3. Yes its 38mm at the nut, not too sure what the A width is but its very comfortable for me
  4. Last Price Drop to £2200 Before I pull it This lovely 1975 Fender P in lovely condition and all original, even the foam mute under the bridge plate has not perished Minimal fret wear, some light scratches across the fretboard which may have been caused with the previous owner cleaning against the grain but it barely noticeable Nut width is a very comfortable 38.9 mm Jazz like shape Weight is 4.4 kgs which just registered before the battery on the scales died so I will have to weigh it again, it feels a nice weight to me Nice birds eye to the back of the neck, tuners in great shape and the varnish on the headstock is starting to craze which is normal for these era basses, my 72 is the same All chrome is in great condition with no pitting, was kept hidden away for a good few years hence the condition Currently sporting flats, the neck date stamp puts it at 1974, the last digit is a 4 which I didn't capture on the phone. Pickups dated 1975 and post are also dated I have a moulded case which I will add for the journey to its new owner, price will include postage to UK addresses If I have left anything out then please comment, thanks for looking guys

  12. Glad it got to you safely John, you had a long wait...
  13. Well spotted @vincbtI took the picture but failed to notice that there was a digit there and its a 4 which I didnt spot due to the light. If you notice that some of the digits have been gone over twice hence the blur. So I have a 75 P with a 74 neck
  14. Its off a 1975 precision, just checking to see if its the original which I'm sure it is
  15. Can anyone help me with identifying the year of this precision neck please
  16. Yep, thats what they call the brass plates around key holes ect. for protection
  17. Well after waiting 12 weeks my pickups arrived from Sontec and the pick up escutcheon plate was for a 5 string instead of the 4. This has set me back as my project is stalled as these are very hard to find but someone may have one hidden away in a parts box 🤔 until Sontec replace the one they sent..
  18. I have a question, I am by no means an expert on vintage Fenders but I have a 1972 P bass with the neck date stamped April 72 and a 75 P with the number system. Doing some research and I was led to believe that Fender stopped the date stamp and and introduced the number system after 1973, any help on this would be grateful as I can't decipher my neck numbers to ascertain if its correct for the 75P... A cracker bass by the way @walshy
