SOLD

So I had one of these about 10 years ago, sold it and then regretted it very soon afterwards. I've lusted after one pretty much ever since and then finally found one a while back. It's sweetly set-up with Lindy Fralin pick-ups and, even though it's got a few dings, the candy red finish is just lush. But, I'm just not getting on with it, and I can't offer a good reason at all. Anyway, I've decided to end the torment and move it on. Was [s]£750[/s] but now, following very lovely but very expensive holiday, £650 posted in UK, Could be interested in a trade for either a 55-02 or a passive DJ5, maybe a 55-01, JO4 or DJ4 plus some cash. Recent US Fender P or J always interesting similarly a StingRay 4 or 5. Aguilar SL-112s or TC amps/cabs could be of interest. Other trades maybe, but nothing too obscure. Really looking for cash sale though. PM me or txt/call me on 07515 929935
2. I've got the following long scale string sets for sale, all still sealed. [s]3 x Warwick Red Label Nickel Roundwound .040 to .100 gauge[/s] 2 x Warwick Red Label Nickel Roundwound .040 to .130 gauge £8 each (posted in UK) for the 4 string sets, £10 each (posted in UK) for the 5 string sets. PM me or txt/call 07515 929935
3. Had this for some time then at a gig a couple of months ago had some issues with my pedal board which I thought were as a result of this pedal, so bought a new tuner pedal but turns out it was poor power at the venue. I've since gigged and rehearsed with it a few times and it's all working fine. A bit scruffy, but nothing too bad, just done a lot of gigs. Comes with box. I don't need two of them so this one is for sale at £45 ono posted in the UK. I'm confident enough that it is working that if you prefer, you can buy the TU3 I got to replace it for what it cost me plus UK postage, i.e. £50 total.

Picked this up a while a go and had some fun with it but decided to stick with my Filter Twin. It's a little cosmetically challenged but it's a tough unit so works like a charm. Will come with a brand new EHX power supply as I couldn't find the original. Everything you need to know about what it does is here http://www.ehx.com/products/enigma Looking for £75 ono poster in the UK PM me or call/txt 07515 929935

11. I have one of these basses and it is epic. Hands down the best jazz I've ever owned (and I've been through a few). I've seen some people (including the sales guy at the shop I got mine from) refer to it as being basically an American standard with a nice paint job. It's so much more than that. It's the only bass I've owned where people have come up to me post gig and literally gush about the noise it makes. If I could have a second one in a different colour, I would. In a heartbeat.

So a crocked car means I need to raise a big chunk of cash and so I'm putting this up for sale. It's an FBass BN5 finished with a Macassar Ebony top and matching headstock with super flamed maple fretboard and macassar ebony block inlays. While no FBass could ever be ordinary, this is no ordinary FBass as you can see from the pics. Even the serial number has been upgraded to a pearl inlay. The previous owner advised that this bass was from George Furlanetto's personal/private/reserve stock, built by him. I think the signatre on the headstock is his. Certainly this bass features on the FBass website as one of the exotic wood finished options. There's also a pic of Marcus Miller playing it. Marcel Furlanetto has confirmed that the bass began production in or around April 2005 and would have been completed in December '05 or January '06. Unfortunately their record keeping wasn't so good in those days so he can't say for certain that it was built by George but he did explain that it is likely as the original pictures show the bass with a Hipshot B style bridge, but it is now sporting a Hipshot bent steel plate vintage type bridge from the period. He explained that it is a change his dad sometimes makes to macassar ebony topped basses to compliment the natural compression and give the bass some extra punch. It plays impeccably and sounds just gorgeous. If I didn't need the cash I wouldn't be considering selling it. At all. There are a couple of minor dings, one on the back... One on the side... If you look closely, there's some slight discolouration along the back of the neck. This may well clean up. If you price this bass up now, it would cost over $9000 US with all the import duties and tax. Marcel valued it at $5000 US and a few other Fbass owners have suggested somewhere between $3400 and $4500. I paid nowhere near the higher estimates for it, and in the hope of getting some good karma, I'm asking for £2495, much closer to that lower estimate figure. The bass will come in a light-flight type case and ideally I would like to complete in person. I can send via courier, but think insurance may be an issue. Open to discussion on in respect of who pays for shipping and insurance. In a perfect world, someone with a less exotic FBass BN5 or VF5 will offer me their bass and a chunk of cash. I'd be open to part-ex deals involving Laklands (US or Skyline), Fender Jazzes. Warwicks (especially coloured ones), maybe others but nothing too obscure. Would even consider a couple of basses plus some cash as I realise not everyone's going to have a couple of grand just lying around. Aguilar SL112s or DB112s and TH500 heads could be of interest too. Happy for anyone to come and try it. I'm in Chepstow, S.Wales. Just over the bridge. PM me or call/text on 07515 929935
15. Is this a German made one or from the seemingly short-lived Korean pro-series?

17. Had this for a little while and it's great for thickening up the sound when guitarist has gone off on one but really don't use it much anymore as singer playing more guitar nowadays so time to move it on. Basically it takes your original signal and adds an octave up to it. You then have a second switch which allows you the option to modify the output by adding a 4th down from that octave, having the octave solo'd or by adding a 5th above the octave. There are controls to set the tone of the added notes as well as to add distortion to them. It's in really good nick, with the box and power supply. Good video demonstrating it's capabilities: https://www.youtube....h?v=xVby-BPyrnE Sold for [s]£220[/s] £170 posted in the UK. Thanks Nick. I'm not too bothered that it's not sold as it's a great bass and, as it happens, band are starting to do some numbers where I actually need a 5 string so maybe a good thing. Though I think an FBass BN5 might be a better thing!
