1. I have the 5 string which I love for its narrow, slim neck - I'm upgrading the electrics. I've just put a John East U-Retro on instead of the 2-band and there's a pair of Joe Bardens coming to replace the EMGs. Can't say I've had problems with battery-draining - last battery lasted over a year. As already said, physical construction is excellent - Cort in Korea - maple body & neck, mine has an ebony fretboard. Neck through. Hardware more than adequate. I'm surprised these aren't more popular. G.

 4.
Is this free-standing, or built-in? G.
Sorry, I'd go for a built-in. G.
 5. Thanks to those who replied here -it's appreciated, but I've decided to let them go as a single lot. Geoff

 7. Most of these 5 sets were on a 3x2 except the Blue Steels which were on a 4x1. Also I have no idea of some of the gauges. I have no idea what these go for, so make me an offer. Most of these are *not* played to death, except, maybe the Flats. COMPLETE SETS Unidentified 4-string Rounds set (no silk) with a D'Addario 130 5th Round in a Roto 77 box. 4 string set of Rotosound Flats in a Jiffy bag. 5 string set of Rotosound Flats in a Roto 55 box. 5 string set of Rotosound Rounds, probably 77s. Look like 40 -130 in a new Roto RB box. 5 string set of Rotosound Rounds in a Roto 88 box - look like 45-130s. Probably 66s. 5 string set of D'Addario Rounds, look like 45-135 in a DR box. 5 string set of Dean Markley Blue Steel Rounds 45-125 in their own box(!) PARTIAL SETS 4 of a 5 string set of Lakland Rounds. 40 - 128. Missing D. In a Roto 88 box. Assorted NOS Picato ProBass Nylon Wound strings some new.60-8?-96-115. 60 -1 used - 1new 8? -1 used 98 -1 used -1 new 115-1 used - 1 new I would trade *all* the above for a new 5 string set of Rotosound 55 Compressors or 5er set of DR Lo-Riders. G.

 10. Looking to upgrade the EMG Selects in my B Bass. It takes standard 91/95mm 4-string pups despite the fact it's a 5 string although narrow spacing. Probably rail-types would be best suited for this, so, who, apart from EMG makes standard-sized rails? This is now sorted. Negotiated a set of Joe Bardens(!) from a forum member and they are on and chiming out nicely (nay, beautifully) through the John East U-Retro!!! Geoff

 13.
Has anyone any experience with this combo. There is one on ebay at the moment but it will mean a day out and £50.00 in fuel to pick it up so any comments welcome. I only need it for home use and the odd bass bash, practice round a mates etc...
I had one for a short time - it made a damn good guitar amp............ You'd need an extension speaker to get the full power rating, I believe - you did on the one I had (75). And at 75/100W it's only a practice amp, as far as I'm concerned. Might suit what you want it for, tho'. G.

 15. Titles tell the story. I need the box they are currently in, so bring some strong plastic bags. These are not concurrent - there are a few missing issues. Geoff

 21.
Rotosound Rotobass: nickel rounds, no silk, high quality, low price. Who needs more than that?
I've had a 5er set on my Ibby RD605 for about a month and they're pretty good so far. G.
