  1. NOW SOLD TC Helicon Voicetone Mic Mechanic. Comes with original box, manual and power adaptor. Cost me £129 about a year ago, yours for £65 delivered. Technical spec: TC Helicon Voicetone Mic Mechanic delivers an all new vocal effects pedal for 2012, which joins this awesome range of stompbx FX units designed for specifically for singers. TC Helicon Voicetone Mic Mechanic gives you everything you need in an easy to use compact effects pedal, offering the ultimate complete toolbox for vocals. Voicetone Mic Mechanic comes loaded with an array of effects, which include reverb, delay, pitch correction and tone. Reverb is the most essential vocal effect, used in virtually every venue and recording studio in the world. Picked from the flagship VoiceLive series, the lush Reverbs in Mic Mechanic surround your voice with a great sense of space, small or large. From short slapback echoes to long repeating phrases, Delay will add that special "something" to your vocal sound. Use the Tap Tempo feature and time the delays to match your music perfectly. Auto Chromatic Pitch Correction gently guides you towards the "true" note you’re singing. When you're just a bit flat or sharp, Mic Mechanic steps in and gives you a little, or a large, nudge in the right direction. It can be transparent or used as an effect, whichever you prefer. Mic Mechanic dynamically adjusts EQ, Compression, De-Essing and Gating, providing you with great tone all the time meaning you get a great vocal sound regardless of your sound system. TC Helicon Voicetone Mic Mechanic also allows you to control Mic Mechanic effects from anywhere on stage with the MP-75 vocal microphone (sold separately).
  2. Bought a TC Voicetone pedal from Jack recently. Nice easy transaction and the pedal arrived quickly and was very well wrapped. Deal with confidence!
  3. Thanks for the comments. It must be the flightcase that's making it feel heavy to me!

  6. Thanks for your comments. There's just no love for the old Yamaha on here so it's probably going on the Bay soon........
  7. JPJ bought this from me and I had it from new. I never pushed it past half volume and there were no reliability issues so what you have here is a great powerful combo with loads of features and known history from new.
  8. These are great basses. I sold my SR500 recently for a stupidly low price and if I'm totally honest, I wish I'd never let it go. Have a bump from me for a very underrated bass with a lovely finish!
  9. What would be the cost including delivery?
  10. Is postage on the amp head out of the question?
  11. I used to have one of these and it was well worth the money!
  12. Surprised this is still here at £150! If only my Yamaha would sell..............

Yes the idea was to have a bridge pickup fitted at some stage but I'm going to gig it for a while before I decide whether to go ahead with that. I'm not going to relic this one but I probably would have if I'd ended up with a white body. There are a couple of dings on the body anyway and I'm sure it'll pick up a few more along the way so that will be roadworn enough for me! Not sure on the make of the neck but I bought it off Rumple so I'm sure he could let us know. It's a precision profile neck but it doesn't feel massive and that's from someone coming from a super thin Ibanez SR500!
  15. I bought Jay's GK RB1001 head from him recently. The amp is in great condition and everything works fine. No problems with the transaction, buy with confidence! Cheers Dave

The neck feels great and looks great too with the binding down the edges, just love the whole package! Think I'll leave the headstock naked as it's a nice piece of flamed wood. A big thanks to the Bassdoc for his work, excellent as usual and I even ended up buying a cab from him to go with my new GK RB1001-II head, all change gear-wise for me!

Well here it is all put together with a lovely 3 ply tortoise shell pick guard. The action is nice and low and it sounds really nice at low volume but I've yet to gig with it. Very happy so far and I'll report back once I've had a chance to play her at gig volume.

Yes I've known him for over 20 years now and he's done quite a few custom builds and modifications over the years, a top guy!
