    I've got a 5 String Warwick Corvette Hot Rot! I absolutely love it, it's a great bass - and it's a good looker. Chambered body so nice and light, great neck for a 5 string. Got the classic Warwick growl. I do have a love / hate relationship with the pickups and EQ though - sometimes I feel that the it can be tricky to dial in the sound in my ears - although that may well be my ears ..... There's a lot of options and versatility in the EQ but to my ears - sometimes - the 'sweeps' on the controls seem to change the tone very slightly and then a lot of change all at once - if that makes sense? Some other times I think the EQ works fantastic - just one of those things I can't really put my finger on. I've never A/B ed it with a Bongo so can't really compare. If you are local you are welcome to come and try it (I'm in Chorley Lancs) and compare to your Bongo - It would be good to try a Bongo as well. If you've any more specific questions fire away and I'll do my best to answer as best as I can.

    [size=4] Up for Sale is a Fender Squier Japanese Strat. I got this as part of dividing up an old band’s gear when the band was to be no more!. Condition is good for the year, dating to 1993 / 1994 from the serial number. It’s sat virtually untouched in the 10 years or so that I’ve had it. There are a couple of scrapes and dents on the body and a dent in the back of the neck, see pictures - This does not affect playability at all. Also, some tarnishing on the bridge. It has just the right amount of authentic wear for the year.     Bough a job lot of bass books from John. Absolutely easy transaction, no problems what so ever, sent quickly and well packaged. John is easy to deal with - good communication etc. I would have no problem dealing with John again. Deal with in confidence. Thanks again John.

    Clearing out of duplicate books and DVD's that I have. All of these are great books to work through it's just that I have duplicates of them! Bass books: Jazz Bass by Ed Friedland, includes CD Improving Jazz Bass by Richard Laird Concepts for Bass Soloing by Chuck Sher and Marc Johnson - 2 x cassettes (remember those?!) included - although I'm slightly technophobic I'm sure I could organise to burn the tracks from my CD copy onto a disc or email them if required. The Beatles Rock Score. DVD's - again these are duplicates and are both still sealed and unused. Some great, inspirational bass playing on both of these, Pearl Jam - Touring Band 2000. Jamiroquai - Live in Verona. Selling as a job lot as Royal Mail recent price increase, especially on minimum charges. £30 for the lot, delivered to your door via Royal Mail.
