1. Any idea how much/would you be interested in couriering it? I'm at the other end of the country (Lancaster) but very interested in this. I could try and arrange it and get a quote if you were up for it.
2. Hiya - quite interested in this but it's a long way to drive from Lancaster. Don't suppose you might be interested in meeting me half-way or something?
3. Just got and put on my 760FS - first impressions are really good, but I will have to see what happens in the next few weeks.
4. Hmm, having read of exactly the same thing on another forum, I'm starting to wonder if sending the wrong pedal is a sales tactic from Yoosmart. They sent me an octave distortion pedal instead of a delay, but they've offered me the delay for $35 in addition if I CBA sending back the other one. Quite tempted to do it anyway - I'm no expert but the compressor and distortion sound pretty good to me - amazing for the price. Will post some more detailed thoughts later.
5. Hi, I'll take it for £35. Please PM me payment details. Cheers Graham
6. Just bought an MXR Octave Deluxe from Trev - everything went very smoothly and was thoroughly pleasant to deal with. Cheers!
7. Just bought a MXR EF pedal from BassyBill - a pleasure to deal with, great comms, and pedal is as new. Cheers!
8. One of my other passions is mountain biking. On mountain bike forums the rule is: Ideal number of bikes = N+1 (with N being the current number of bikes) I believe this could apply equally well to basses.
9.
Hey Sharky, I'm on your side. A pedal that's designed to be sold to the semi pro, pub gigging and presumably beer drinking (in said pubs) musician should be fit for purpose. In my book that includes being water/beer proof. If it's not then the design criteria is wrong.
Seriously? Can you find one effects pedal that claims to be waterproof?
10. I've just ordered one of these, and a delay. Too cheap to resist the GAS There is a decent review of the octave fuzz on talkbass and some nice sound clips. Might get one too!

Hi there!

Hello everyone, I've been playing bass for a few years, but just recently decided to try and take it a bit more seriously. I play in a Hip-Hop/Funk/Rock band - http://www.facebook....pp_178091127385 - based in Lancaster Just bought a MiM Fender Active P Bass Special off here, and I'm using it as inspiration to play more - I want to try and learn properly, as I've never had lessons or really spent any time learning theory/technique. I'm also buying some FX off here to experiment with different sounds and try and get a killer tone

I guess that's a no then - I've decided to try the pedal board route instead anyway. GLWTS
13. How much for the bass octave deluxe? Thanks.
14. Hi, I'll take it for £70 if that's ok - can you PM me your payment details? Cheers
15.
I'm going to stick my head above the parapet here and wait to get it shot down..I enjoyed it..thought both players were solid in what they did, good tone from both basses and it gave the Bassist(s) a chance to shine and come to the front instead of the guitarists.. should I duck??
Admittedly I'm only listening on laptop speakers but the tone sounded horrible to me - is bass not supposed to actually have some bass in it? Stuff like this just seems like pure musical masturbation to me. No thanks.
16. Anyone have a link to a good guide to doing basic setup? I just bought a MiM Fender Active P Bass Special off here - very happy with it but it seems the setup needs some tweaking. Some of the higher frets don't work (not sure what the technical term is) and the string buzz is a bit more than I would like. I am planning to put some Labella Flats on there anyway - but I read somewhere these strings have quite a high tension and the truss rod might need adjusting as a result? Just wondering if this is relatively simple or a local guitar shop job. I'm not a complete numpty but not a tech genius either. Thanks.
17. Just ordered some of the standard ones for my new (to me) MiM Fender Active P Bass bought off here. Can't wait to try them out, woo!

Hi, I'm in Lancaster - I'm guessing that's not on the way to Somerset for you?
