  1. I've been using these for over a year now. Cheap as chips, always last a whole gig and not a single problem.
  2. I've got petergales old one. Fabulous sounding amp and as he says, doesn't weigh anywhere near as much as other all valve amps. Also works beatifully as a lead guitar amp. If proper valve sound is what you're after, this will definitely not disappoint. Build quality is also second to none. GLWTS.
  3. Can be all sorts of things; Big production - Everybody Wants To Rule the World Simplicity - Shipbuilding Emotion - I Can't Make You Love Me Foot tapper - Sharp Dressed Man Some songs are also extra special through personal connections.
  4. Good Year for the Roses - Elvis Costello
  5. Crawling From the Wreckage - Dave Edmonds
  6. I use one too for smaller gigs. You can also put it up on a chair for better monitoring purposes and use the XLR to run a bit through the front of house if it's struggling for volume. Not been a problem for me yet though.
  7. I assume you tried the amp out at significantly lower volume than a gig.
  8. Eden WT800 into TechSoundsystems 2x12. Tokai Hardpuncher bass. Effects are a Zoom B1Four for a bit of compression, tuner and stuff, a Sansamp programmable for 3x sounds (basic, crunch and drive) and a Zvex Basstortion with a MicroThumpinator. Sounds awesome though I say so myself.
