Played a gig recently where the guitarist had amp problems and ended up playing through my Fender Rumble 100 which I happened to have in the car. It was an emergency solution which actually sounded really good.
The irony of it is that thousands of people who've paid through the nose for tickets will doubtless spend the whole gig filming it on their phones so that they can watch it on Youtube later. Mugs.
I've never used the send/return effects loop function. My pedals go in front of my amp, but I'm interested to know why you would join the send and return jacks with a patch lead. I've seen this a few times on YT and it has me puzzled.
Having had most of the main protagonists over the years I'm very happy to have recently acquired an Aguilar Filter Twin off of this forum. Had one a few years ago and should never have sold it but something shiny must have caught my eye.
