1.
Only if you don't know it's happening.
and to let everybody know, just say it.
2.
You can. But, but as thousands of years of human interaction has proven, sometimes it's just quicker to nod.
but a nod online is worth nothing. espacially regarding to the OP's question:
...There are so many gems of posts on here it seems a travesty not to have one
3.
It makes perfect sense. It's just the equivalent of nodding in agreement, that's all.
then you also can say it. can't you?
4. I hate the like button. people tend to -instead of saying something or replying to a message- just click without communicating. what sense does something like this make here? I f you like a thread bookmark/follow it...
5. sometimes this: but most of the time this: also with this:
6. thanks mornats. I like the roland r-05 a lot. compared it with the zoom h2 and maybe the roland has a slightly little less bass, but overall soundquality is equal and it feels better with the metal housing. also it is not battery hungry. but if I had to buy one now, I'd probably go for a zoom q4hd or compare it with the new nokia 808 pure view that also does stereo hd videos.
7. very nice indeed.
8. moinmoin from hamburg!
9. let me start with tonights jamsession at my bands rehearsal (me on guitar). directly recorded and unedited with my roland r-05. the bass is a usa lakland 55-94 through an old swr bass 350 redface and a hartke xl 4x10" + older crate 2x10" (the ampeg type). and this is my soundcloud site. I'm happy about feedback.
10. thanks. sorry, but I didn't see it.
11. bought a set of nordstrands. it's a pleasure to do business with dave. an honest gentleman to deal with. thanks.

15.
... But do they lend each other gear? Do they look out for someone if they haven't posted for a while? Do they get together off-site for organised beers and bashes?...
cool, this is what happens on my favourite german bassplayers board, too. there must be something special about bassplayers worldwide...
16.
Does anyone else think the 'demo version' of this head looked loads sexier??
me.
17. my seibass jazz 5 and my '65 guild starfire, because they are the best basses I ever played.

19. this sounds like a semi acoustic with both pickups straight into a tube amp without much gimmicks except some reverb, and both guitars sound rather similar. what guitar->fx->amp does your guitarplayer use?
20. +1 for 2x10 + 4x10 -1 for the booster and compressor, if you learn to control your dynamics with the playing style and get used to use your volume pots, then you can save this money.
21.
Well after some dead ends, I finally managed to swap my ACG 9 string (which I was finding physically painful to play!) for a Sei fretless. Kudos goes to Binky_Bass for his great efforts above and boeyond the call of duty to complete this exchange. So here's the new addition to the sonic armoury! ...
drop dead gorgeous. congrats.
22.
That's a lovely looking Pilot! Guild Pilots are great basses - very under-rated.
thanks rhys, its the last of 3 I have owned and definately a keeper. it plays and sounds fantastic.
23. can't keep up with all these great high end basses, but this one does all fretless I need:
24. sorry for you, mark.
25. the ones that I know who used it had been very pleased.
