1. Are you interested in a swap for the ampeg of a trace gp7sm 130 head and a 4x10 cab?
2. Can i offer you £10? pm me if your up for it
3. big welcome, never heard of the college before, how are you finding it?
4. no mac version though... b*stards
5. hmm, no i dont think i was going to go down the sandpaper option, only ever a spray or rub on job, but the fretboard on a maple would be the problem, as i definately wouldnt want to spray it, so it would stay like new. il see how it gets on with the first few gigs, im sure if i take my eyes off it for a few minutes somethings bound to hit it. like the look of your bass tanuki, the wear on the back of the neck looks quite genuine from the photo, who worked on it?
6. will sell for cash if no one wants to swap for a 2x10
7. just in case you wondered, its not a crack or anything like that, full version, boxed with all the manuals etc
8. hello, a friend has asked me to sell this for him as an unwanted present, he hasnt even opened it! i think he already has a copy so is now in duplicate territory.. he is after around £200 posted for it, let me know if your interested and i can get it sent out next week http://www.apple.com/logicstudio/
9.
Bump.
does it have shoulder straps? how padded? pm me
10. nice cable, about 1.5 m long, barely used so in brilliant condition. Perfect if your recording 8 channels and dont want wires all over the shop, or for live use
11. whether this guys job is good or not, i like the look of a reliced instrument, i agree that a phony relic job isnt ideal, but i prefer the pics of some of his to a brand new bass, but thats why i wouldnt by a brand new bass
12. its maple throughout, and i havnt recieved the neck yet, but i dont think it is lacquered, if it is its certainly not a heavy lacquer
13. oh i definately wouldnt do that to it, i just meant a lacquer or varnish that i could apply so it doesnt look so spanking new!! its going on a used 81 pbass elite body so might look strange for a while
14. you may be right beedster, i found some nitrocellulose spray, but its £20, and with the wrong application il just look like a tit
15. you may have hit the brightness shortcut key (theyre f1 and f2 on my imac)
16. there was a post on this recently but i cant find it... ive just bought a new mighty mite and want to rub it down with some vintage sexiness, any easy/cheap ways of doing this? thanks
17. i know somebody posted about this not too long back, so can i have a quick recap on how you would get that 50s finish on a new neck? ta
18. As i predicted.. this is too big for me and for the moment i need something a bit more travellable Its a good cab, very solid being an older trace, no rattles or green fur, has a full black painted wood case, good grill, solid big handles and its pretty damn loud. it has scratches on it and has been gigged, but thats what cabs are for right? also the jack connection in the back sometimes needs twiddling when you first plug it in from the head, id say the connection just needs resoldering where the jack part is, but it doesnt cut out or anything once youve got it in the right place... The head is a trace gp7sm, in great condition, wonderful full punchy tone, 7band graphic eq, passive and active input, loud trace fan, but the amp is loud too, ive had no problem whatsoever with it, just too big for me to move around Only interested in an ampeg combo really
19. +1, love the pictures, really fantastic work
20. as a package logic will offer more at your fingertips without needing to buy extra software such as plugins and it will help develop your writing quicker. pro tools is a great programme for engineering, mixing and designing sound but it is pretty uninspiring for writing music. i use an apogee duet (2 in 2 out like the mbox) and its honestly the best £320 ive spent on audio equipment, and with logic works like a dream, i used to have an mbox2 and a pro tools tdm rig, but this is my favourite setup so far
21. change of plan, im going to go for a badass
