2. i think by courier would be about £50, maybe a little less, so not horendous, but expensive, and a pick up would be ideal

Mastering?

compressing will bring up the noise floor even more! im sure we have different techniques but ive always been taught to increase the gain rather than normalise, and compress with a multiband when mastering

Nice bass that my friend is selling, great condition, could do with some strings but plays nicely with a lovely deep and smooth warwicky sound, the sale will go though me, and ideally collection will be in guildford as it wont come with a gig bag, but may be able to get enough card somewhere.... Looking for offers around £180

Mastering?
If you normalize the audio files it will make them louder. I know adobe audition has this function, not sure about audacity.
normalizing a track will also make the unwanted background noise louder, you need to usea multiband compressor and a mastering eq, or get a finisher?
10. cheers bassbloke, im dead happy with the stand, very generous guy
11. okay postage on the cab is £36.50 which i think is fairly reasonable, but i cant cardboard it up, so it will just go straight in, not that i think thats a problem with this one, is next day delivery at that price

Toasted

cheers joe, top notch with the pedal
13. thanks, a good insight, i have also read recently you can disconect the hissy horn and it works much better??
14. i can, but at your cost... which i doubt will be amazingly cheap as its pretty heavy. It would probably be cheaper to hire a van for a day or something like that
15. I am downsizing as i cant get my 4x10 around and was wondering if anyone had had any experience with these. im looking at the cheaper models, namely the BA115, but havnt really got the opportunity to try one out. I enjoy a very punchy trace style bass tone, quite light and not to boomy and definately not muddy and id really appreciate any insight.. thanks
16.
Tried asking Jools @ Silent Hill Studios or Nev at Garden Studios if they're interested in buying this? Might make a good rehearsal rig.
i havnt thought of that yet actually, might give it a try, cheers
17. im in guildford and interested in the 3way stand, what the easiest wya to gt to you? pm me if poss
18. Interested in a trace gp7130sm head and a 4x10 cab? both a good couple of hundred watts peak power, pm me if your interested
19. Hi jon, im another from guilford, welcome
20. i think using mp3s doesnt help, there is a lot more clarity without any compression, even wav files have noticably better bottom end and head room, thanks for the insight though
21. cheers jono, yes its a nice versatile little pedal, ive just got another overdrive though so this is up for grabs cheap
22. welcome, hope you enjoy the forum
