1. Fun little distortion/overdrive pedal, ive been using it on bass and has some nice characteristics. I havnt gigged with it so cant really vouch for it, but i think it would be a good pedal to signal mix with others if thats your game. Has a couple of small paint chips but has original box and manual with it. Nice and sturdy pedal. £15 bargain including postage. If you fancy a trade then let me know what you have.
2. can i take your cure hits, and radiohead ok comp cds? pm me
3. bump for a quick sale...
4.
If you mean you have to pull the plug back a tadge then mine does this too! I don't think it's a fault, I remember reading somewhere that there are different standards for some jack plugs/sockets which probably explains it. The easiest solution is to get a jack-to-xlr cable made up so you (or whoever buys it) can use the xlr socket instead which provides a much more solid and physically locked in connection. Regards, Steve.
thanks steve, thats good to know, it always works completely fine when its been plugged in, so that explains it, the previous owner used xlr and reported no such problem well the cab is still set at £100
5. collection will have to be from guildford in surrey, or courier at your expense
6. I'm re-advertising this, looking for straight cash The cab is 200watts of punchy trace power, and if i had a car believe me id keep it, but there's no way im gettin this on the tube... Its ply rather than mdf, VERY strong construction, has scratches but these are nothing more than cosmetic, bit of black paint would be all it needs. Its a fair size at 65x60x46 in cm, has 2 very sturdy handles, no rattles or buzzes, pure cleanliness The head is a trace gp7sm 130 with 260watts peak power, very sturdy and easy to manage with a decent handle, has features such as gp7 graphic eq (7band) passive and active input, deep and bright boosts, mute switch, tuner out and effects loop, and it can power two cabs via 8ohm outputs. just to be clear looking for £70 cash for the cab alone I had a buyer who has pulled out, so really need to sell this to pay for my new amp. Absolute silly bargain at £200, no offers
7. pm'd on mmfx
8. haha, yeah it does help if your a fan of the smiths, thanks for the positive comment
9. if you are a student you will also get a student discount on mac, whch is nice and easy to do from there website or phone. i will also +1 for the imacs, they are amazing, but your never going to carry one around.. so get a macbook, which is cheap, and not ideal for a studio, or a powerbook, more expensive but well well well worth the money. They are both laptops, dead stylish and will do everything you need. Also be sure to have at least 1 gig, if not 2 of ram when you order if you are going to be using logic, pro tools, or any software that is actually useful
10. please feel free to give some feedback too
11. i have been putting together an e.p. with my band, and it has been a work in progress since october last year, but we are starting to reap the rewards finally andis starting to sound good. you will find some of the newer songs at www.myspace.com/therookeries please ignore the older ones which are little more than demo's now
12. i would say three weeks and it will be in my hands, these are just pictures from the guy who is building it, testing it out just teased me though tbh!
13. thanks ebs, i got a chance to play it prior to spraying to make sure it felt okay and i was very impressed indeed, much nicer than the hofners that i had played prior to asking for it to be built, and the intonation seemed pretty good through the neck, i have to wait a couple of weeks for drying now though
14. we have colour!!! have been waiting for a dry couple of days for a while and now the first coats are on the bass and i think its looking ace

20. im nearly finished a circuit im putting together for a pbass, dad simple, just one pup, but i was wondering, if i line the scratchplate with foil, will i still have to solder a ground wire from the jack negative to the volume casing, and also from the tone casing to the volume casing? im currently unsure...
