I have been depping with these guys and it has been great fun, but with two other bands and a degree round my ankles i unfortunately no longer have the time, and feel bad not being able to commit full time. They rehearse in a great spot on old street and have some nice gigs in the pipeworks so will be a great gig for somebody really. They are great guys too and with more time i would be straight onto this.... my loss. get in touch with Jamie via their myspace... if you wanted this could be converted to an active as it has the space from being an elite, and it has a hole for an endpin jack that i have left, although the wiring is currently of a standard precision, there are a couple of small blemishes on the body, nothing major, and the only issue that i can think of on the bas is that it could do with a bit of a setup, and that the g string isnt spaced as evenly as the others, only minutely, and i dont know how difficult it would be to rectify this pm me for any questions

Im not sure how the interest will be on this one but i thought i would try either way as i dont want to split it for parts... Anyway this is a franken pbass i put together as a project, it took plenty of my time and i love it but i'm looking to move it on now for something different. So i will be interested in various trades, or a cash offer. This bass plays and sounds really nice, has a sturdy precision feel to it and is made up of very good parts. These include: Precision Elite USA (fullerton factory) body (beautiful sunburst) 80s jap Pbass pickup Mighty Mite Neck- very smooth and plays very nice Badass bridge MIM tuners available for testing/collection in guildford
Hi I posted this on the end of another thread so, rather than hijack it here's a new thread of its own ... I'm looking for a way to record rehearsals (some with 20 + horns and a section) and mini-demos with a small no hassle recorder that produces something I can easily put onto my MP3 player, PC and CDs .. This is just for me to learn the tunes, mostly. No requirement for great quality beyond the ability to hear things clear enough on playback and avoiding overload distortion (used to get that on cassette recorders - yup it's been that long since I did anything like this ... Looks like those that have them like Zoom H2's ... any difficulties with them or other makes and models to look at? H4? Am I right in thinking you can load the recordings into sound editing software such as Cubase LE (I have that somewhere) and then add tracks etc? Thanks OldGit, recording numpty .....
these are great, ive been using mine to record rehearsals for analysis, buy it with some sufficient memory and you will have great fun. It generally picks up everything in the room well as long as you position it nicely, it has four mics, so you can do stereo or two stereo (surround) recordings of the room. Mine didn't come with cubase, but the tracks are very easy to get off anyway, i just do it with a card reader, but you can use it as a USB mass storage device which is pretty compatible. hope this helps

had a weird gig last night.... it was at phibbers on holloway road road in islington, london. Very small stage, and pretty much half a drum kit (no hi hat clutch!!!) even though they said just bring breakables, but it was funny nevertheless
I really like mine - but only on certain songs that require a HUGE BASS sound. They will happily knock holes through walls. Great for a big throbbing dub sound.... and certainly not for 'twiddling' about on. As for current 'top players' that use them? Well the great Daryl Johnson uses one live when he plays with Daniel Lanois (who is also a big fan of them in the studio) & gets a fantastic tone - and then at the other end of the spectrum the guy from The Hives plays one too! I paid £1K for mine not that long ago - so I'd better review my insurance as this one looks like it's going to get well over the £2K mark!
sexy...

Soul Provider Sadly selling this cool pedal as i need to raise money to afford the DHA i will have on order shortly. Very cool sounding pedal which does a great glitchy octave synth. Controls are the two octave envelope followers, gate and level. I have neatly attached velcro to the bottom of this pedal and it will come in its original box. 9v powered and true bypass, cool blue led Hardly used and selling at £80 to your door

I noticed a similar problem the other day when using my pedals... i have a 6 way 9v daisy chain plugged into 3 pedals, and when i touched a screw on my midi keyboard, i got a small shock. I dont even know where to start with this, but i guess an rcd is a good one! I got a mains shock at college last week from a broken air conditioner, really not willing to risk that one again (wasn't my fault at all)

I ended up with two kits for these, and im going to try and sell my first modded pedal. I took my time doing it and its cleanly soldered and works great, i have done a few similar things before. Basically this pedal WAS a pretty cheap compresser/sustainer, and is now a very nice transparent opto compressor, with plenty of compression available on it. I have attached velcro very neatly to the bottom, but will include the original base (if you want to glue it back on?) and the box and instructions. Its in great condition, and worked out nicely for me the other day, but i will shortly have two. Heres a thread about it Basschat CS-3 and here is where the mod kit originated Monte Allums Looking for £55 posted (another sold on here for that not long ago) ta
