1. Have anyone heard about that amp? It's 2 channel guitar/bass amplifier, 100W, it has four EL34 valves power amp and preamp with two ECC808's and one ECC82. Guitar channel features Bass & Treble controls plus 'Vibrato' effect, while bass channel features Bass & Treble controls only. It also has separate volumes for each channel and 'Brillance' knob, which I understand is a Presence knob of sorts. I cannot find any bass samples whatsoever. I have an offer to buy this for about £190 - £200 equivalent in Poland. Is it worthy? If I know correctly, Echolette is a vintage German company that later became known as Dynacord.
2. I meant low-end, deep and somewhat muddy, yet punchy sound.
3. The thing with the sound quality is a reeeeaaaally complicated stuff, y'know. I have a cheap neck installed on even cheaper, post-soviet body with the cheapest bridge available installed and all together this abomination of a bass sounds really great! Dunno how that happened, really, maybe it's the strings? Anyway, I'm one of those, who would try out any combination in case of finding a great instrument in the place least probable.
4. Is it postable?
5. Okay, found one, 150W version, on eBay. I think I'll pass it for next few years
6. You'd probably need a lot of thump, so, from my perspective, Squier Vintage Modified 70's TB will be great. Otherwise, try to find a Japanese copy of EB-0 or EB-3 bass, something like this: Sholudn't be too hard
7. Damn, I needed that scratchplate :| Too slow.
8. Hey, can you post it? If so, I'm so interested! ED: Damn 1: Too slow for few seconds, am I? Damn 2: I was quicker to show my interest than read your offer entirely - you post it. If BigJim would pass, I'm in.
9.
Gas is great if you like the thrill of the chase but a real pain when it just becomes habit. I don't want to return to how I was
For a moment there, I felt a chill of fear... But... Naah.
10. You know, I was merely thinking about a cool, tortoise shell pickguard, nice, tiny thumbrest, maybe some chrome covers, eventually a rocket launcher or two, nothing big...
11. A bump, perhaps? Please, express an opinion on my idea; generally it's not too painful... ED: Okay, maybe I'll ask the other way: Is it possible to wire the pickups with TWO push/pull pots in the way that one will be volume for both, second one will be tone for both, and the volume one will be serving as on/off switch for mudbucker and the tone one as on/off switch for single?
12.
I really think you should name the music shop it was in. To lessen the chance of a basschat member buying it.
Or maybe do the quite opposite thing - go there and tell them you told about the whole situation on web board, but wanted to give them another chance an not told what the store's name is. And quote several posts from here. Maybe they'll get converted to the 'Light Side' and you'll get a permanent discount?
13. Looks nice, but in my book it just begs for customisation I've played two MiM Fender P-s that were really cool basses. Good sound and the "prestigious" Fender logo for decent price.
14. In my opinion, BadAss looks good only on JB. Oh, and the Lotto Bass, maybe. It's way to bulky and square-shaped to be put on oval-styled MM. And will not improve the sound. Don't let him do it.
15. That's sad... But, who knows, maybe it WAS a good instrument, after all? Not for the price, but still...
16.
I'm sure you could email them from Poland
Damn, I sounded silly. I meant the fact that my friend's English would be better
17. Yeah, but I'm not from England... But I have a buddy or two there, so maybe I'll ask them for a favor. You thing Metamp would do a european plug amp? You have 230V in your sockets, right?
18. Damn, how neatly done! Pure valve porn. Congrats on the amp, really nice one. How much is it? Maybe one day...
19. Yaeh, right. G.A.S. ceased. Riiiight. I said it to myself maaaany times, all for naught. But I love it just the way it is.

COWPOKE!

Nice one! Not entirely my style, but really cool
22.
If you must know it's because I had food poisoning over most of the Christmas period , and now it turns out I have a rather nasty urinary infection . Take no notice. Doc tells me I'll be much better in a few days, and that extreme grumpiness is a common symptom of this condition in older men.
Oh, damn! Well, my mum and grandpa also had food poisoning, but AFTER the Christmas - you know, the common virus, 'foodabsortium waytoomuchus' Hope you'll be OK!
23.
(...)The Poll is called P Bass Survey (if you don't have a P bass and/or don't like them it's not compulsory to partake) (...)
That's why I don't understand why Lefty's so feisty. It's like being mad for not finding pork chops in vegetable store.
Ref. 2. I don't have a world view of basses. 25% of my instruments are Ps. It was intended as a bit of fun at Christmas. Sorry to disappoint.
For me it WAS fun and a bit of surprise to find that most people statistically would prefer modern made P-bass with round. My fingers are getting uncomfortably itchy even when I thing about it!
24. What colour is it? Show some pics, please!
25.
The OP is only asking for trades not a sale hence no price needed.
Ah, right. Sorry, just realised that the 'Marketplace' even exists here two days ago (and already bought three things ). My apologies!
