1. Thanks all, some interesting offers coming in. Bump
2. Pics to follow! £1050 I'm looking to sell my musicman stingray 20th anniversary. This is a fabulous bass but I fancy something new. The quilt finish is the best example I have seen on these rare basses. Condition is very good except a couple of scuffs on the headstock. Full images to follow. Many thanks, Paul https://imageshack.com/user/ptw1991
3. Fabulous bass, would go well with my 97' silver flake. Any trade interests?
4. Bought a Genz Benz amplifier off Jim, excellent transaction with good communications and quick delivery. Many thanks Jim
5. Evening all - probably should know this kind of stuff but a little help required. I have two Genz Benz focus 2x10 cabinets which both give 300watts each - 600 total. 8 ohms each also. I'm tempted to get a Genz Benz shuttlemax 12.2 head; this would according to GB website allow me a max power from that amp of 750 watts. Question I have - is the head too powerful for the cabinets / will it damage it? Many thanks, Paul

8. Women, always falling for sparkley things! Did you get this in from US by any chance? As said, I saw one on evil bay a while back.
9. Bloody Hell! Totally tempted to add this to my '97 Flea. Cracking bass. I've seen one for sale on eBay US and that is it! Keeping the purple one instead mate, very tough decision I am sure.
10. I bought a Modulus from Danesh who made the whole experience very easy. Quick postage and excellent communication, the bass arrived from Germany in sublime condition and playability. Most sincere thanks for a hassle-free European exchange Danesh. Paul
11. That is a superb example Daniel, GLWTS. Hope you are still enjoying the Modulus. Regards mate, Paul
12. Not a problem. The little logo is carried by LP equipped flea basses from my knowledge. Only around for the 97/98 period, there is a big mystique about them with folk willing to pay large sums just for the pick up! A said state of affairs for Modulus and I have been well informed by the UK dealer that their fate is all but sealed. May I also suggest you search the wanted section of our forum as many folk have been searching for a Modulus Flea for some time.
13. Further to the pickup, I believe that looks like a lane poor. It is the same as my one with the logo which is a LP.
14. I own a 97 flea and will say that these are incredible instruments. All the best with the sale.
15. I have this in the flamed maple version. Superb bass, have a bump on me. Paul
16. This reminds me of the time I found a Modulus Flea '97 on Gumtree for £400. I e-mailed the seller to say your instrument is worth circa £1200. Smelled a fake. He said he needed to shift it quick. Either stolen or total BS. Gumtree a no for me.
17. If anyone is interested, the last Modulus at SMART, a solid silver finish w/SD p'up and aguilar OBP-1 is on sale for £2450.
18. As an owner of a Flea bass and keen admirer of Modulus, I have been following the developments closely recently and I emailed SMART Distribution, the UK Modulus dealer, to see if they had heard anything. They informed me that: 1) For anyone after a Flea bass (FU) they have 1 more left in stock 2) Regarding the Modulus situation, I was informed they may be undergoing business restructuring but all is still a bit unknown.
19. Glad to hear it arrived safely mate. Do put some pictures up when you receive it. Best, Paul
20. Flea logo models were stopped in 98. The trussrods have been on them for many years and from what I recall, the funk unlimited was coined in 2008. These are becoming harder to find these days, infact I can only recall seeing a few for sale on basschat over the last 5 years.
