  2. Young classical musicians love centuries old music and covet instruments from the 1700s etc. Mid to late 20th century guitar music saturated the planet more than any other kind of music ever has or probably will. The instruments from that time are never going to be worthless.

  10. My advice is don't overthink it beforehand. Get involved, the host(s) will more than likely put you with some people who aren't the house band for a go. In this case it's something usually simple so everyone can get through it. Just get up there and enjoy it. You'll figure out what you need to work on in future afterwards, especially as you'll then have a feel for the musical environment. It's always nice to meet new like-minds. Have fun!
  11. Hairs Where the Story Ends - The Sundays
  12. Behind The Sun - RHCP

  18. As a Welsh person I find watching Welsh interviews with the English auto generated captions on utterly hilarious. I've often thought that if I ever need a new band name then that's where I'll find one. Try it! 😄 For example...
  19. For Goodness Sakes, Look at Those Cakes - James Brown
  20. O Poore Distracted World - Alexander Weimann
  21. Kate Bush. I knew her famous singles from when I was a nipper but it's only very recently I listened through all her albums and was pleasantly amazed. She's properly brilliant.
