1. Owen, i've been there and know where you are coming from with this problem. Other than asking deaf people not to attend, I guess that sort of defeats the object of evangelism! I solved it by re routing the cable away from the band area, and this has solved the problem, ours was a surface mounted wire so not too much trouble yours sounds a whole lot more complicated.
 2. Trades at all ie LM11
 3. mine I hope, price agreed, hope to paypal u later, gotta go out now, be back in a couple of hours. Andy
 4. I like playing at home so am sticking with my GB! She is high maintenace and costly as you would expect but the rewards from the quality materials are there for all to see but only for me to play with. Been using her extensively lately, so have had to buff her up tonight and bring back the finish. Showing a little wear on the lower area but thats understandable after three weeks of extensive use, so shes calling for a week off for maintenance and a change of batteries. Ho Hum.
 5. Well huge thanks to all the replys, i guess a small drink b4 might help. My biggest problem is being tied to the music book, ive tried to learn patterns and stuff for songs which helps, but ive only mastered about half the set without music.
 6. After literally decades of playing Gospel music all over the place, a few months ago I decided to join a secular band for some fun and b4 I get too old to pick the thing up! After 2 months practice we have our first gig on the 11th April at a club. The difference in clientel as it were worries me and I'm getting nervous, any tips for a cure?

 10.
Yes, I think someone should patrol the room with a big ugly stick* for those times when the cacophony gets a bit out of hand... *pretty much any Warwick should do.
Oooo my sentiments exactly!

 22.
...speaking of North East, is there anyone out this way that wants a lift? I may be able to go if I can find someone to share fuel costs/stop me getting lost... I'm in Hull, but could go across to Manchester/Leeds I suppose - looks like Sheffield is on the way too. Is anyone bringing their other halves? Maybe we could setup a makeup/shoes/ perfume alternative for them
if my other half looked like yours youd be well advised to leave her at home!

 25.
This bass makes me want to cry, I absolutely love sunburst and tort vintage jazzes, it would only be better if it was an early 70s (just for asthetic reasons). The worst part is that I'm 27 now and in 15 years time when I have climbed the greasy poll sufficiently to afford it and buy one of these it'll cost me 3-4 times as much, buying it now would actually save me money in the future. Alas I'm getting married in April 09 and I need to spend the cash on other things. Good luck with the sale Steve, I'll have to go now, the tears are making my keys too wet to type...
You look to have more than enough basses to keep you content, plus with a new wife you'll be up to your watery eyes in wall papering and drain cleaning and stoking the fire! with no time for playing.
