  1. sorry dude that would leave the body rather hard to shift
  2. I love this colour I had planned to build one from warmoth but it's still really exensive. Roughly how much would o e of those jazzes go for may I ask. I über skint at the mo but still hold a secret plan to build one over a few years using Xmas and bday money as I'm assuming it's still gonna be cheaper than a real one!
  3. thanks dude no interest yet so lookng likely!
  4. Benn has taken my 15" to London with him to swap mate I'll get him to get hold of you can't wait to try it.
  5. that's good to know, well i'm still alive and the shielding has really helped. So just to check it's ok that I wired the earth plate thing to the pot?
  6. pssh, more importantly I'm playing with my ozzy tribute band at the reckless engineer near temple meads on sat 21st!
  7. tbh by the time I'd charged for shipping it would cost the same as a new one lol
  8. Please don't make me evilbay it!
  9. Thanks mate it's truly gutting but I really need to pay off as much of my credit card as I can as quick as I can so I'm just trying to think about that. If I stopped to think about the basses i'm having to part with and the fact that I'll never afford any of them again I reckon I'd just cry!
  10. I know streamers dont tend to shift on here but i though id try. Well i need to clear my debts so the latest of my basses to bite the dust is my beloved streamer LX its a great nick with some light buckle rash visible in some lights on the back, the bass is a 99 and in great nick with a super low action and no issues, not even the broken tab on the nut lol, its a reeeeally sweet streamer! It wipes the floor with all the other wicks I've owned Inc an 80s stage1 and an fna jazzman along with other lx's. It even has a lovely figuring in the neck, which has a sort of optical depth to it, def the best warwick ive played bar none. The bass is fitted with gold schaller straplocks and a hipshot detuner. EDIT NOT included at £400. Ill accept £4oo collected from Cheltenham or buyer arranged courier
  11. nice one malcom it was a pleasure to deal with you and I hope I can again.
  12. iPhone foible, I don't seem to be able to edit posts on the Iphone so excuse me replying to my own post! I just wanted to add that I shielded the bass with adhesive copper as well and the buzz has gone as much as it ever does in my house, so it worked but am I going to fry?
  13. I recently removed the emgs from my blue 62ri jazz and paid a well known local store to wire in the new electronics which I supplied, the pots, pups and brass earth jobbies that go under the pups. As it's a 60s model it has the visible strip on the front.this was a job beyond my technical ablitues so I paid to get it done among other work. On getting it home it really buzzed but in my house most basses do but this was really bad. I unscrewed the pups to look at shielding it and found the bridge brass doodah wasn't connected to anything!!!! So I soldered it to one of the pots is this right? Bit gutted really I paid and he did half a job. Specially as the guy plays a 60s jazz hmself figured he'd know how to wire one! I wired to the neck pup vol pot chassis which was where the neck pup earth brass doodah was wired to is this ok?
  14. thanks whoever shrunk the pics I have no clue how to do that!
  15. yeah that one only stayed on for a day now it's on my White 75ri and the squier is wearing the White plain one off the 75 which looks awesome.
  16. proper fender no screws great nick never fitted, just some teeny tiny marks in the chrome from 'storage' (it fell down the back of a ton of stuff in my wardrobe!) only visible up (very!) close Bridge only left £12 posted
