2. Just to say hi and thanks for all of you who came over to the Enfield/SimS stand, very special thanks to Keith Baker who is now the proud Dad of a stonking Lionheart 4 fretless! As has been posted, Martin had a nasty accident whilst loading into the show on Friday afternoon and spent the next three days in hospital - one of our big flight-cases fell over and as he tried to grab it, it knocked him over and he has broken his left arm (I was sadly not there to help as travelled down the next day) - he has had an operation to put a plate in it and is now at home recuperating. The stand was however buzzing both days and on behalf of SimS, very special thank yous to George Anderson from Shakatak, who joined us on Saturday, Gabor Horvath, Mark Smith and Jon Randle from Doctor & The Medics. Cheers! Nick
3. Lesson slots still available, if you can't get to me I can offer tuition in your own home within 80 miles of Peterborough!

5. See you all there! Am on the Enfield/Sims stand! x
6. Cheers Dave! The collection really is the sum total of my bass playing career thus far.....many of them were my dream basses as a kid as I started playing in 1982 at the age of 11 and of course, growing up in the 80s with a paper round meant money was tight (still is as a pro bassist!!) - however, I suppose the collection really started in around '87 as I had a Saturday job in the local Music Village shop and I had the pick of all the used stuff that used to come in, so I would work for nothing for months and put that credit into a bass!!!
7. Very interested......and you cannot have too many..... http://www.guitar-bass.net/features/private-collections-nick-smith-bass-desires/
8. Sadly many of the basses were not featured due to space restraints in the magazine, we had about 68 out of the 80 down at my studio and I think only 57 were covered in the feature! Still nice to have been asked to do it, special thanks to Flateric and of course Lars Mullen for doing it!
9. Cheers guys! Was actually a moderator on here for a while but being a full time musician meant I had to resign!!! Glad you like the feature!
10. For those of you who may be interested in my collection.... http://www.guitar-bass.net/features/private-collections-nick-smith-bass-desires/
11. Very proud to have been featured in last months Guitar and Bass magazine! As many people could not get hold of a copy due to massive sales, the feature in now online here: http://www.guitar-bass.net/features/private-collections-nick-smith-bass-desires/ Cheers!
12. Visog! The guy in that video you posted happens to be me!!! Have been using my Enfield Lionheart for well over a year now, it is now my main bass!!! If you get the chance you must try one!!!!
13. I've been using a Lionheart for well over a year now, it is now my main bass, it outruns all my previous "ladies" and the versatility is incredible! Mine was the one seen in the Bass Guitar mag review, the one you reviewed too Dan! The more people get to see them the better!
