      Fair enough @Marc S, the only Wingbass owner I know of is our @ped from round here, no idea if you guys are near each other though.

      If it's that Wingbass atheistic you want though, it sounds like nothing else will do. I know the basic ones are too expensive, but still a gamble if you've never tried one...

    Is there anyone still making exposed core nickels and flatwounds, like the old Superwounds? All the exposed core strings I can find today are stainless steel only.
