It may not matter what they think of the band, it matters what the audience think, but to them it's obviously going to make a difference and I think you can accept that they think you're a crap band, whilst still being as enthusiastic/committed/whatever as the rest of the band.

You may well be rubbish in their eyes - they could be absolute perfectionists! Tell them that you understand, but that gigging is the only way to get tight! Also, they must realise that getting up on stage is going to take some balls. If they manage to handle gigging regularly, they can handle making a couple of mistakes.

No, he meant to split to 9v outputs into 4 9v outputs, using 2 daisy chain-like devices. Alternatively, you could construct a [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltage_divider"]voltage divider[/url] with a couple of resistors to convert 1 18V output to 1 9v output, which you could obviously use for more than one pedal using a daisy chain or whatever.

I think you should try an EQ pedal at the same time as a dirt pedal, like the boss, or you seem to like tube stuff - DHA like Kev said. If you can't get a decent sound out of the ODB-3 (wasp in a jar?!?!?) then I reckon you'll find it difficult with most pedals that have that many controls.

Stick your ODB-3 on for bad-boy bottom end!

I have always had problems getting my zoom units to work daisy chained. I'm pretty sure it's just that they need as much current as they say (300MA+), and the standard pedal board supplies are 300 and 500ma. I have seperate psus for my zoom multi, and for my marshall digi delay. The rest of my pedals are all daisy chained from one fiendish psu.

Check the "how to get gigging" thread in off topic. I would go to gigs and meet local bands, given them demos or links to your myspace and ask them to help you out with gigs. Quite often I have got promoters' numbers from local bands.

Bad decision!

We did friday and saturday night (me on drums) in stoke and they were some of the most fun gigs i've ever done! I was deffinitely too drunk to play properly on the friday night, but I didn't make any major mistakes and we went down a storm with a new crowd. Saturday was more reserved but much tighter. I was up till 4am both nights and now I am knackered!
