We did friday and saturday night (me on drums) in stoke and they were some of the most fun gigs i've ever done! I was deffinitely too drunk to play properly on the friday night, but I didn't make any major mistakes and we went down a storm with a new crowd. Saturday was more reserved but much tighter. I was up till 4am both nights and now I am knackered!

I certainly couldn't fit a mixer with EQ onto my board!

I want a chorus pedal that's kind of the opposite of the CEB3 in that it would chorus the lows (variable) and not the highs, so that you can use it as a sort of "doubler" to make your bottom end meaty without getting the wishy washy splishy sploshy splashy chorus effect.

Some really good sound guys love the job! I would enjoy doing live sound, but I wouldn't want to be stuck in the same venue every night for years!

I have played a lot of gigs, and only had 2 or 3 real arse holes for soundmen. The rest may have been crap, but they weren't "arse holes", just didn't deal with bands strictly enough, or don't know their equipment well enough or whatever. We've probably had around 5 or 6 great sound guys.

If you bypass the lows, there will be a perceived boost. I would predict they are infact not lying in the manual, but i've not played with one myself.

I think we would all agree that music can inspire musical creativity. I think everyone would agree that listening to a peice of music, and trying to/playing a peice of music are two quite different ways of looking at a song. Therefore it would only be logical to conclude that playing covers could inspire musical creativity. I think that (original, and covers) bands that tend to play the same set list over and over are limiting their creativity, as new inspiration can never be found in old (with relation to a specific person) music.

Sam - you must have been in contact with someone at SC to beleive your money has gone? I assumed you had already been down there, demanded your amp, and been refused?

I always assume that my GP has real reasons for everything but he just doesn't communicate very well. I'm probably being naive though because he failed to diagnose my grandad's stroke and (less seriously) my broken foot.
