  8. update: .... just found the Box with all those 'missing' issues, so it's now totally complete oter than June 2005 (?) so will see if I can source that one. So 2000-2006 in now otherwise complete I also found the 1st issue (Spring 1990) !
  9. currently On HOLD .... off hOLD (!) .... withdrawn.........
  10. SORRY ! ... thought I was in "Other Musically Related Items For Sale" when I listed this; could it be moved to the correct section please Mod(s)
  11. Crazy price (required) .... offered in the unlikely event that somebody wants to buy the whole lot and to cover some of the postage costs. There are currently c. 445 Bass Magazines which will hopefully increase if I can find what I've done with BP (USA) 2005/2006 plus various odd 1999-2004 issues (missing) and other odd singles from other titles. I don't want to sell individual copies (as yet, possibly never) but am OK with complete years / collections or (best for me) a complete A4 box which will hold c. 5 years (nand weights c. 12kg.) PM if interested with details and I can price accordingly....... Here's a breakdown of what's there + photos:- Bass Player: (190 in all currently, pending more to be found) complete years - 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014. Incomplete 1998 (no Jul/Aug) 1999 (Jul-Oct only), 2000 (no June), 2001 (Jan-May only), 2002 (0), 2003 (Dec only), 2004 (Apr only). I'll try to locate all those missing (must be somewhere as I subscribed throughout to 2015 (jan - July: final issue for me) and will have stored 'somewhere'............ Bassist: ( 50 in all) complete 1997, 1998, 1999. Partial1996 (x8) and 200 (x4). Bass Guitar Magazine: From 2002 (165 in all) - current day (feb 2019) Bassics: (23 in all): includes x15 and/or x8 which are copies of some issues of the 15 Various (some double copies plus some of Bass Proffesor / De. etc.) all are in excellent/new consdition (and I forgot about things like the old Gear / Equipment issues (in photos ... may have to remove some photos as there are so many)
  12. Bought some pickups from Keith recently. Totally excellent deal throughout - great/prompt communication and he sent them even before my bank had initially managed to mess-up the transfer... (sorted later, of course). Highly recommened - pickups really well packaged and arrived quickly.
  13. 40mm used to be some soundclips on the Marleaux website but nothing there currently. There are a couple (and possibly more) on youtube:- https://uk.video.search.yahoo.com/search/video;_ylt=AwrJQ4x8VkxcnnAAWi1LBQx.;_ylu=X3oDMTByZmVxM3N0BGNvbG8DaXIyBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzYw--?p=marleaux+fretless+bass+youtube&fr=yfp-t#id=5&vid=66e0ca937d237127fe1156947456f499&action=view https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-E435fUKFg

  15. That's fine Typyhpus - thanks for some really useful info & links. Genuinely appreciated. I guess they are (or were) mirroring the example of e.g. Fender / 'Custom Shop' pricing cf. more 'standard' models.
  16. Thanks - hadn't thought of that (doesn't Jon Shuker make JJ B's basses these days?... maybe he'll let me have a logo/decal?!) - but obviouslty a man of great taste (both of you, that is) - I think the BLK/Map combination is one of the best P-bass options. However, it's not getting any/much use so dropping the price:- £345 (incl. Courier) !!
  17. Thanks for the additional info (.... I think) Typhus. I'm sure you're correct in what you say/know (I did try the usual online research re. these instruments but found nothing significant) - but could you recall/outline the spec. differences which account for the massive price difference. I've looked through the 'japanretro' photos/models and everything - other than the pickups - appears to be exactly the same
  18. ...of course; doesn't everyone* ..... (LOL/PM'd) * the chap in my avatar (photo taken at Yamaha Studios, Plaza Singapura) is left-handed but manages to struggle-through on a right handed bass (!!)...
  19. Thanks yet again itu - great information/research!!... Much appreciated !
