  1. I get a lot of guys come up to me afterwards and tell me they 'like my style and lines' but sadly i'm the ogre of the band so its all a musical platonic attention!
  2. Muse at T in the park. Chris has invisible bass syndrome again
  3. I swear Peter Hook looks just like Pete Townsend.
  4. I don't need it for too many sounds, so i think i'll be okay using it just in stompbox mode. God i'm a good at guessing with the T-Wah and fuzz idea!
  5. Can you get a 'Wolstenholme' synth fuzz? Ala Time is running out? I'm guessing i might have to mix a fuzz with some kind of T-Wah or something?

    Boss ME50b

Just bought one of these as I played one in the past and it blew me away - naturally i've GAS'd ever since. I'm eagerly awaiting its arrival. Can you guys tell me all the pros and cons of it from your experience? I'm really going to be using the Muff, ODB-3, Flanger, Wah and maybe a bit of delay as well as a bottom boost and the compressors. Cheers, Parker.
  7. Sorry littlewing it's all kinds of mine
  8. I've no problem with the swapping. You want to get the right tone for each song. When you've that much money and that much success you can afford to be that much of a perfectionist. I know I would be if I wasn't a student!
  9. As the title says really, official fender pick up cover for a P bass. Tom1946 sent it to me attached to a glorious P bass but i couldn't get on with it over the pick up so i took it off and forgot about it. Mint. £15 inc postage. Can put a pic up if really needed.
  10. Red Fender Jazz, Fireglo Ric, A few status as well are his range. He used to play bass collection basses and a pedulla rapture, and some warwicks in the studio. Pretty wide range of gear! Back onto the topic of their performance, i thought they played exceptionally well but the mix let them down. Too wooly and not enough punch.
  11. PM incoming.
  12. Shop well with Tom, I bought a different P bass off him a couple of months ago. Great guy to deal with, buy with confidence! Also Tom the P has gone to good use in the studio and i used it for the first time at the Wychwood Festival to our biggest crowd, not a bad time to unleash P tone for the first time hey!
  13. These basses are awesome, it's my current axe after i bought one off here. Great P tone for the money, someone snap this up!
  14. How loud is this bad boy? Does she stack up well in a live situation with two loud guitarists and animal on the drums?
  15. 130 looks and not a nibble. BUMP.
  16. This is a really lovely bass and in fantastic condition. Mine has a maple fretboard, sunburst finish and black pickguard and if i say so myself it's quite a looker. I bought it over an OLP because i found it more playable and it gave me a bit more variety in tone. I reckon i've played this at around 30 gigs, and as stated, it's in fantastic condition. No dings to note. Just a silky smooth super playable and great sounding budget bass. I'll put some pictures of only the bass up soon, not the bass and some *cough* 'gorgeous' *cough* model holding it DROP TO £110
  17. I don't mean to be rude but is that not a bit steep?
  18. Personally, a good bass player doesn't have to be someone who can play ridiculously fast or put videos of themselves on youtube slapping away. A good bass player plays what is right for his music and fills that hole between the rhythm section and the melodies. A good bass player will encapsulate the mood and feel of the song in his or her playing and give the music real texture and a greater level of impact to the listener.
