1.
There is a one for sale here in my favorite colour / board combo, it looks killer! http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=83331
That's cool but i'm not a 5 string man!
2. Fellow bassists, I went into a local music shop to try a rick the other day and was sorely disheartened by what I played. However one of these caught my eye. It was reduced as it was a 'b' spec one (the paint was wrong, ordered as black but it's a sort of translucent green. Personally I think it looks the dogs danglies). It's the single humbucker 4 string version with a maple neck. I played it unplugged for about two minutes before I had to head off to get my bus, and it was the single most playable thing i've had my hands on. Super-fast jazz(ish) profile neck, great string spacing and very slappable. It's on sale in the shop for 595 but I get on very well with the guy who runs the shop and he said if i was interested because of the paint he'd knock a bit off. I was wondering on what your experiences are of the MTD Kingston range? I'd heard of them before but never played one. How versatile is the single humbucker and the 3eq on it? What else would you reccomend for under £800? Cheers, Parker
3. Bravewood! I was close with firewood! Cheers guys!
4. Who made those lovely 'fake' 60's/70's Fenders? You know the ones I mean, where the guy would build the basses and age them.
5. Hey scoop, tried that rickenbacker and i'm afraid it doesn't suit my style of playing. A 'never meet your heroes thing'. Best of luck with your sale and bump for a gorgeous bass.
6. Cheers Scoop, i'll keep that in mind!
7. I've always wanted a rick. There is one in a local shop, i'll go in and try one for an extended period before coming back to you. That baby blue is gorgeous.
8. Just given savings... told to buy something big and i'll enjoy... OH GOD WHAT DO I DO!

20. Bump.
21. No interest? I'd be up for a trade on another pedal of similar value, something fun and different. Parker
22. Fantastic, i presumed it might be to do with the ohms after seeing the line out was 600 myself. That's eased my fears, thank you very much!
23. Great little piece of kit. I bought this as the sound our band were looking for at the time required different styles of clean sounds, a distortion and a big 80's style chorus sound. The little korg gave it to me and in spades but the setlist has changed and i only need two tones now, so this is made redundant and can go. You can get loads out of it, really nice smooth cleans, middy honks, hard distortions, wacky synths and useable delays/reverbs. It's in it's box with instructions and in immaculate condition. Offers? At rehersal area at the moment, i'll get pictures up when i get it back.
24. They're 12.99 big ones, i can't really tell you more then that! So is it probably the headphones not the amp?
