1. I have a geddy lee jazz bass. I paid slightly over the odds for it as I really wanted one, £510 incl postage and a hardcase. I reckon I would get less than this if I sold it on, and I love everything about this bass other than the fret buzz and action, so I really want to get it fixed properly. I live in sunderland, any help greatly appreciated.

3. Haha fair enough! I think the price is fair so i presume the lack of interest i due to this been a bass site! I am still open to offers though!
4. Wow what a bargain one would say! Anyways, this is a jupiter JTR 300 series student trumpet. Its very nice and great for a beginner or intermediate player. I played a jupiter up to grade 5 and could have probably gone further, In the bass world its about similar to a mex fender in comparison with other makes. To put it into perspective, cash converters have a trumpet for £80 which is absolute trash, the equivalent of a no make bass with the bentest neck you will ever see. In terms of condition, it has two reasonable dents, one above the jupiter stamp along the top of the instrument, and one on the bellend. It is also missing a valve cap but is easilly replaced. It comes with a revolution case, which is light but also very protective at the same time, a 7C mouthpiece, a polishing cloth and blue juice valve oil which still has a bit of juice left. All the valves and slides work smoothly, and I have personally played this in my band and it was fine. Dont really know what i should be looking for on this but the RRP is £315. Ive seen people selling buy it now for about £150 delivered, so Im selling it £80 posted. Any offers welcome thanks for looking.

10. Well i know Im just reiterating what other people have already said but go for it, this is a great oppurtunity. I aspire to be able to play semi pro some day but at the moment I have 6 years of dentistry training coming up so just dont have the time. From what Ive read you sound dedicated and commited to this project so theres no reason not to do it if youve got the time. P.S top tip for getting rid of playing live nerves. Go to a buskers night and play and sing with an acoustic guitar. Speaking as someone who is rubbish at both singing and guitar, thats cetainly a frightful experience and makes you realise how much less pressure bass is...and more enjoyeable ofcourse good luck!
11. I dont think ive ever seen such a packed thread with so many people posting comments at the same time
12. Yep I have one too and its a great bass... I sold my usa deluxe jazz bass to get it and I prefer it. Obviously the maple neck is its main selling point, but the balance when standing with it is perfect. Although I would say that the tuners could be slightly better and there is a small buzz when I play an Eb, but even the extra cost of a pro set up and some hipshots would still make this bass a bargain and would definately make it perfect. IMO buy one!

14. Hey thats cheating putting on basses that have moved on! Until I say that comment halfway down the page I was just gonna say how much I dream of owning such a glorious aray of basses. Top three are probably the nicest anyways though....but I do like the walnut one.
15. If I was you I would get a geddy lee jazz bass. But thats because if I was you, I would stil be me, and thats what I have :s Even at my minor age Ive owned a lot of basses especially fenders and this is the best all rounder IMO for that money. USA fender probs have a slight better build quality but IMO dont have that something diff that you get from the geddy.
16. Interesting question... people think Im crazy cos I always change my basses for something similar. Squire pbass --> custom pbass ---> I now await arrival of my Duck Dunn. Granted these are steps up in spec, but dont show a lot of variety. Fender usa deluxe jazz --> jaguar --> fender geddy lee I actually went down in price on these, just for the maple neck really. If I had inifinite money I wouldnt have sold any off these, or the 6string esp and thunderbird I had. Altho I have to say that without a huge price increase I wont be changing the stagg edb

20.
Take the Roland to uni for practising. Leave the GK with a band member and get him to take it to the gigs for you.
Yeah I will probs end up doing that I dont find another solution. I just think I could get louder than 30w for the same price of the roland, as I dont need the effects
