Hi all, very rare poster here I know, but long time lurker... I've just picked up a TC electronic BH550 amp to replace the GK I had (from here) and already I'm regretting it... The amp plays fine through speakers and headphones, but I can't get the toneprint to work. Beaming the signals to the amp does nothing like. The TC ewebsite suggests I update the firmware but the very second the USB is plugged into the computer it trips the entire electrics in my house! Does anyone have one of these and have any idea what to do? Thanks

Selling my Trace Elliot Cab after about 4 years of constant use. Bought 2nd hand in the exact same condition it's in now with the torn fabrics, it's been to practices and gigs constantly and always worked flawlessly. Selling as I have another one (with better fabrics) and I've only needed the pair of them twice, so going to put my other one back into use and free up some cash towards my house deposit. Sadly selling my Aria Pro II, bought this in 1994 and has been in constant use the entire time right up until I got a 5 string last year and this isnt getting played anymore, so it's up for sale. Plays really well, plugged it in the other day to check it over and it will need new strings, and theres a possibility that it'll need the jack socket re-soldering as it was glitchy with the lead. On one of the pics theres a couple of dents in the finish with I've pointed out, other than that some light scratching on the back as you'd expect for a 17 yeart ld guitar in constant gig use but otherwise in very good nick. I did buy a car big enough to carry my kit, but as my kit has evolved my car isnt big enough anymore. 4x10 now goes in the boot, along with lead bag and guitar stand, then the bass in hardcase goes on one back seat and the rack box goes on the other side. It was all good when I didnt have a rack amp and a soft case, it all fit in the boot.

I'm selling the flight case that came with the Gallean Krueger amp I bought from Richardd It's a proper quality bit of kit, and if there was room for my tuner and other bits in there i wouldnt be selling it, but I've bought a 6U now so this is no longer required. I honestly cant believe noone wants this... it's been on here twice now, and didnt sell on ebay twice either. What am I doing wrong? is it overpriced? Should I just go and trade it in? -
Still trying to sell my first 5 string after getting my new Ibanez... Yes it was only £250 new, and thats considered budget by everyone on here bar me (I'm poor! ) but it does play really well, has a nice small neck on her for the smaller handed out there, and would be ideal for a first 5 string or even a first bass for someone just starting out and I'm only wanting £80 for it, it's only 2 days in and it's the deal of the year! I'm up for a swap, and I'm currently looking for a 4U or 6U flightcase, a wireless system or any other rack gizmos like a compressor or effects unit.

Just averted a major crisis... We're top of the bill for a gig tonight, loads of presale tickets allready gone, and one of the singers text me at half 7 thismorning saying he has flu! A couple of hours of panic, and our old singer who the new guy replaced 6 months ago is standing in, we're dropping 4 new songs and having our first practice as a soundcheck. It's a nightmare, but at least we're not cancelling... Playing in an 8 piece band we mostly have deps for everyone, the dep guitar is also the dep for the bass and borrows my rig, when the drummer cant make it I play the drums and the dep does the bass... we can usually work around most dates How do you all work your deps?

Sounds like as first gigs go, it was a better one... I've played in bands that have gigged for a few years play a lot more mistakes than that and we only had 8 songs to do!

My lot (one of them) Green Onions, the UK Blues Brothers Tribute band will be playing at the Jericho Tavern, Walton Street Oxford on New Years Eve. Red Soul Brigade are supporting. Tickets are a tenner, and include free booze... If anyone is in the area and decide to drop in, make sure you say hi to me at some point - I'll be the one attempting to play the bass...

130 miles each way, 6 hours in the car due to the banks in Oxford being crap (long story), and a great deal on a great bit of kit from a genuine guy who makes a great cuppa! Cheers rich!

Changed from 4 to 5 a long time ago now due to necessity (needed the range) and literally havent played the 4 string since. Dont feel the need for a 6 tho, dont need one for my requirements, and wouldnt know what to do with it anyway!

Not a thing for me, bass > amp > speaker. Looking at that 'post your pedalbard' thread makes me want to try a few things, but I doubt i'd use them. My BR600 has effets built in, I've played a couple of times but cant find anything on there I'd actually gig so not gonna bother buying the pedal.
