1. Hi Mate, I'll take that Milk Box off your hands - if it's still available that is!
2. Pretty much as the title suggests! Bass attack is in mint condition and boxed.
3. Hi mate, I know you said you were bored with pedals, but would consider a straight trade for a Hartke bass attack pedal for your comp? No probs if not. Cherrs

5. They do! Certainly worth £160!
6. Defo right mornats! Thing is, I like people knowing I play a Squier and I also like the self kudos of knowing that if I stuck a fender decal on them, nobody would be any the wiser! Mwhahaha!
7.
I don't, and never will own a 'Fancy' bass. For one, the cost, two, I'm not a fan of most of the designs. I don't play anyway fancy, I use my fingers, and play a bit of slap when called for. I'd be much much happier using a middle of the road bass! None of my basses are fancy ( well, fancy as in handmade, hugely expensive ). While I respect the craftsmanship, and the playability, they are something which I personally, wouldn't like. My two cents. ( Yup, cents, I'm in Ireland, after all )
8. Liam, I think there is a fine line between being inspired by someone and imitating their sound. You're a bass player in your own right and you will find a sound that works for you. Steve Harris plays a precision, so maybe start there, invest in a good amp and see what happens!? Jon
9. I'm not gonna beat around the bush here and I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking Squier basses are great! I'm not a guy who earns a massive salary ( I do ok, thankfully), I'm lucky enough to work in a job I enjoy (sort of)! But I really think that the range of bass g's available by Squier is astounding! For people on a somewhat limited budget (like me) they provide a range of quality choices. Now given you can pick up a Vintage Mod Squier for £280 max and the next stage would be the £400 Fender modern player, I can't see why you would pay the extra? I understand the high end USA models, for quality, but i have a vintage mod Squier bass (jazz) and I've been thinking recently that id like a fender. But then a part of me thinks llook, you're not a pro, you like your Squier, nobody in the audience gives a you know what, so stick with Squier. To this end, I am going to spend £280 cash in Leeds on a fretless Squier jazz ( jaco style body!) What say you?
10. Hi mate, I'm interested in this, where abouts are you based? Cheers Jonny
11. Hi Matt, Not sure that's really my cup of tea, but thanks anyway! Jonny

18. I'm looking to sell my Epiphone LP Special - It's a great little guitar in mint condition, with a lovely tobacco/sun burst finish. Would preferably like to trade for a Squier P Bass of some description. Would also condier selling for £100ish. I live in Leeds, but could deliver/meet within reason! Let me know if interested. Jon. 19.
Hi Jon, My boss actually offered me the same swap! I tested his one but I don't think i'll be able to shape the tone into what i'm looking for. So i'll have to decline. Thanks though!
Ok Mate, No worries. Good luck with the sale!
20.
The collection needs thinning. With that in mind I am going to have to let this one go (regretfully). It’s a Squier P-bass Special (I.e. Jazz neck but jazz and P pick-ups). I bought this for £199 new about two years ago. I've gigged it alot and its one helluva workhorse. I also recorded an EP with my band on this bass and the tone is perfect. The body and neck are sound as the day I bought it and it looks awesome (the metallic black glistens beautifully in stage lighting). Obviously being used for gigs and such it's acquired it's fair share of buckle rash, the headstock has a couple of scratches (damn venues with low ceilings!) and the poles on the pick-ups are a little ionised. With this in mind I'm looking for £110. I'm based in Oxfordshire and would vastly prefer local pickup, though I might be able to travel a little. I'm also interested in trades - I’m looking for delay pedals, reverbs, synths (the shame) perhaps a guitar or a jazz bass. Whatcha got? Let me know if you're interested Pete

Would you be interested in a Yamaha EMP100 mulit-effects unit?
Think I confused everyone! I was hoping for a swap for the P Bass if Pete was interested! I did daftly make it look like I was after the EMP100 (Which I'm not) Sorry guys! Pete, I'd be up for a straight trade if you are. Jon.
21. Hi Mate, would you consider a straight swap for one of these for your P bass? Jon. Epiphone LP Special
22. Interesting. I suppose you've always got the option to change the sound (ie: new pickups and so on,) if you don't like it. I think having thunk about it I'm more of a looks bloke! But the sound is important - and here I go again......
23. I've been thinking about this recently, so just thought I'd post it and see what other people thought?? We all know that feeling when we're in the market for a new axe, or just window shopping and you see that bass and think, that is pure gorgeous craftsmanship? But what is it that attracts us to a particular model? With me, I love the shape of Jazz basses and have done for god knows how long! Just so happens I really like the sound too! But recently I've been thinking about adding to my collection and have been looking at various basses and reading reviews and so on. I can't however, drag myself away from the way it looks. For example, I've been reading various reviews whereby people swear by the sound of a bass, but to me it looks awful but sounds awesome. What I'm trying to say is, do people go for looks, sound or a combinations of both. I love the sound and warmth of Warwick basses, but cant stand the looks! I'd love a Sadowsky, but although they have a Jazz-esque shape, I just can't get used to the lines on the body! Am I mental?!?
24. All great suggestions above. I suppose it depends how much you want to spend? I personally love Ashdown gear. I've got an ABM EVO ii 500 combo and for what I do (small to medium gigs) it's awesome. Some of the lower end ashdown stuff can be a bit limited, in my opinion, but just get a SansAmp and all your problems will be solved. Truely awesome bit of kit.
