short of opening up the amp and wiring in a footswitch...

my mum and dad bought me the rockshool book and cassette just ater i started playing bass...

i've no pictures of mine, but it's a fender mexican precision ("cowpoke") similar to this... if it were passive i'd be able to figure it out quite easily...i'm hoping that even though it's active i can look at the pcb and work out where to connect a new cable to

the output jack was cracking so i removed the plate it sits in and a short black wire just dropped out onto the floor !! and now, no sound so i've no idea what it connects to except i presume the jack socket... i'm going to open it up tonight and see if i can make any sense of the wiring. i really hope i can fix it...i love it. trying to find the silver lining i restrung my jazz bass and played that last night. wish me luck !!

at work they when the bosses have meetings they drink some kind of posh bottled water that has the same closures as grolsch bottles. they normally leave the tray with the drinks finished bottles outside the meeting rooms when they're done... i've acquired a few washers that way

hmmm...that's interesting. i bought a bashed up jazz bass a while back with the intention of stripping it and doing it up (not got too far on that....but that's another story...) and i reckon it must be a maya looking at the pics above. it was painted really badly with house paint, so the logo wasn't visible. nice to know what it is though...

i've never really got on with multi-fx. but then i like all them little boxes. they're like little faces smiling up at you ^_^ kawaiiiiiiii !!

the boss obd3 bass overdrive has been described as very industrial-sounding...admittedly not in a 100% good light, but it might be worth a try out. it was too much for me, but a very fuzzy tone - it has the blend function and 2-band eq too.

i hope you have ! at the worst it's a budget model from a high end maker - and i guess you're getting the 'tronics. if you don't get on with it...pm me. i don't expect you to tho' :D
