11. your gunna need a new nut for your 4 string if your puttin 135 guage B strings on it, which is what iv sussed out from your post, the string will be too large

15.
Blame the credit crunch mate. Basses are only worth what people can afford to pay for them. I remember Normal rays going for £850 not too long ago.
those days will come back, its only a matter of time a bass like this is worth a grand, not a measly £850! the sparkle stingrays, particularly the 5's, demand the extra cash and people will pay for it, an ernie ball official said to me that sparkle finishes such as mine (blue dawn) and yours are very sought after, and i was advised not to consider selling in the current climate (which i wouldnt anyway ) yours is rarer than mine too! dont be tempted to drop the price unless you cant eat

new post issue
It happens to me now and again, has done for months. Are the read flags written when moving to another subforum? Come to think of it, I often use the back button to return to the list of topics rather than going back to it via the navigation - could that be a contributory factor?
nope, sometimes as iv said topics that aint been updated for like days sometimes just suddenly appear unread
17. actually really want this, £450, if i sold my grind for £200 and add to that the jazz i just sold for £100, im £175 off...
18. that stool still available? im after a little stool to sit n play bass on, is it height adjustable at all? if not how tall is it?
19. as i said, its nickle that causes the reaction to happen with some pans, and as i said makes food n that taste very odd afterwards, which cant be healthy dude if your gunna go for the boilin idea, put em on boil for 20 minutes at least, and then either dry them by doin the oven thing, maybe blowdryin them or just leave them to dry overnight or something. obviously dont try dryin them with a towel or something as youl just rub sh*t back into them again!
20. boiling removes all the dirt and grime n grease from the strings, and stretches/shrinks them with the heat, making the strings fresh n zingy again. i usually follow up with a quick bake in the oven for 10 mins at 200 degrees to dry them off n finish the effect obviously wont last as long as new strings, but you can do it several times before it loses its effect, saves alot of money boiling will not soften the strings at all, if your not getttin on with steel get nickle although warning, do not boil nickle strings in the same pan as you cook food in, itl leave a nasty residue and your food will taste funny!
21. good stuff
22.
how broken is broken? do you have a picture of it? --eric
the footswitch is ripped off, and some of the trace on one side leading from the switch has been damaged by my carelessness the footswitches seem to break a LOT. and as iv discovered seem very difficult to cleanly remove
23. you able to do sound samples?? could help you alot, i imagine very few people would have played one of these
