1. Got these strings for Xmas, little too heavy for me so would like to trade for another lighter set, happy to try any brand. They have been cut for ~3 winds on a Warwick Bass, so will not be suitable for Fender-type headstocks. WIthdrawn-found a use for them.
2. Did anyone else just frantically go onto the second hand section on bass Direct to see if Mark was really selling a Wal for £330??
3. Happy to consider cash offers or trades for other effects or basses (no amp equipment), WHY?
4. Considering it was repaired by a professional luthier I imagine that counts as being checked? Can't see a comparison with the other bass, which was just assumed dropped and never looked at. This looks like a great bass, good luck with the sale!
5. Up for sale i have a mint condition Digitech Whammy WH1, the original. Comes in box with unused warranty card, manual, original euro power supply. Pedal is in perfect condition, never seen another Whammy so neat. Second owner, will also include the original purchase receipt from 1994. More pics on request. £350.00 shipped in the UK. Will ship overseas at cost. Trade offers will be listened to
6. Still available folkios, offers considered; it needs to go!
7. No worries mate, welcome to the forum
8. Okay, forum rules are that you need to put a price on it buddy Stops the whole private auction thing etc. Or, perhaps give an idea of the type of bass you would trade for??
9. Incredible example, just wow! Wish i had a suitable 5 string Warwick to offer for trade! Please don't trade this fantastic classic Warwick for a Fender!!!!
10. My first 6 string, one of these. Good one too, always wanted to stick a preamp in it and take advantage of all the space in the control cavity but never got round to it. Great bass for that first step into the whole other world of ERB
11. Good choice of new bass! Hope you find a good one ps fancy selling your SS1 yet?
12. New pictures but still no brass nut and truss rod cover? This is potentially the bargain of the century but there seems to be several unknowns about it. Have you had a luthier check the neck to make sure the crack is and will remain cosmetic? And are you able to take a photo with the brass nut and TRC? I live in Leamington, have £750 to spare and am very interested, but have a rather busy schedule and a lack of vehicle that will make getting to Coventry difficult so id rather all the I's dotted and T's crossed beforehand.
13. Lovely bass buddy! If i had the money id whip it off you. Did they ever make NT versions of these?? Careful with the bumping though mate, isn't there a 48h rule now?
14. What kind of trade value are you looking at mate?
15. Don't get how the whammy is still available! If i didn't have a WH1 i'd be tempted!
16. Damnit i miss my one of these, its got a little too steep for me to rebuy now but it truly is a superb pedal. Had a couple of mullard valves in mine and whilst i had it it was always on.
17. Bump Updated thread, still have this fella hanging around the place, really don't have a use for it! Here's a sound sample to give you an idea of what it's like: https://soundcloud.com/thumbbassgk/p-bass
18. Recently picked one of these pedals up myself, superb compressor, very clean and musical, but can get as squashed as you like
19. Bass Whammy's were going for at least £350 about a year ago, seems a great deal this" Have a bump
20.
The brass nut was taken off just before i left because i made some adjustments,so it will come with the bass ,no problem, and for the scratch/crack there s no story behind, most probably it was dropped long time ago
So the brass nut, rather than the plastic black nut, will be included with the sale? As well as the absent truss rod cover???
