Only bought it a couple of months ago, and has not even been used at a rehearsal, literally only in my bedroom so far. It's in almost brand new condition...I haven't even taken the plastic wrap off the pick-guard yet! Although saying this, unfortunately due to a semi-drunken accident, there is a small-ish scratch/ scuff near the main horn. You can't see this from a distance, and it may be able to be blended out. Sorry! Has active electronics, and I will throw in three new Duracell batteries. Sounds really great! Also, you can adjust the neck without having to take it off! Such a great idea! I'm only selling because I have been given a P-bass from my mate which suits my new band a bit more...plus I need the dosh really.. £255 including postage. I am happier to take bank transfer over Paypal. I've sold basses son here before, so you can be confident
 2. Hellloooo. I have an Orange Terror Bass 500w head. It's awesome and I love it. Only problem is that when I want to get a bit more crunch from the gain knob, the output signal through the DI seems to peak too much at the desk. The signal seems to be way too hot. Is there something that I can do like put something like a volume control between the DI out, and the desk? The volume control on the amp doesn't seem to make any difference to the DI out... Just the gain. Anyone else had this with other amps? Ta! Matt
 3. Bump again. £170 pickup from Brighton, East Sussex £180 posted to UK mainland.
 4. Hah sorry, pick up from Brighton.

The tonal range is awesome and very responsive faders. I'm selling because my amp does most of this anyway. Really great pedal, very clean and hardly used. I will also throw in a new NiMH rechargeable 9v battery too. Any questions just ask. £20 pickup from Brighton £23 posted
 6. I am the bassist in a Queen tribute called Rhapsody. We've played all over the world, and have a fantastic time doing it! Plus we are all Queen fans which is handy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49e-NXHpeew

This bass is amazing! Really sounds great, it blew me away with it's tonal versatility.

The ONLY reason I am selling is because I'm in a Queen tribute band, and I've just bought another P-bass.
Embarrassingly, I sanded off the Yamaha logo on the headstock...you can just make it out there, and the model sticker is still on the back.

Through-body, or bridge strung.
I bought this on a bit of a whim after playing one. If I didn't absolutely need another "Deacy" bass, I would certainly keep this.

Neck is perfect, and the great thing is that you can adjust the neck from the butt end without taking it off...so you don't need to unscrew it every time you want to adjust it.

BIG POINT: I removed the paintwork with a heat gun. There are some signs of slight burning of the wood, but this can either be sanded out, or I think it kinda makes it unique!
I haven't lacquered this, I just rubbed in some oil. You can either clear lacquer it, or get it re-painted in the colour of your choice! So please be aware that the wood is a "blank canvas" and not in top new quality.
But gold dust for a project.

The bass itself is fantastic.

Has a toggle switch to switch between pickups, or to have both on.

This bass will come with a truss rod allen key, and a saddle allen key.

I have a cardboard box for it. I've sold basses on here before without a hitch, so you can trust me Also check out my Queen tribute called "Rhapsody". https://www.youtube....h?v=49e-NXHpeew Matt

I've only had it for about two months! This bass is amazing! Really sounds great....I've only gigged with it once, but it blew me away with it's tonal versatility. The ONLY reason I am selling is because I'm in a Queen tribute band, and require either a natural colour P-bass, or a sunburst Stingray (probably a copy). So if any of you have one of these to trade, let me know!! I bought this on a bit of a whim after playing one. If I didn't absolutely need another "Deacy" bass, I would certainly keep this. The metal work, and paint job is extremely clean and looks like brand new (which it almost is!) Neck is perfect, and the great thing is that you can adjust the neck from the butt end...so you don't need to unscrew it every time you want to adjust it. Unfortunately, in the one gig that I used it in, I dinged it about 3 times...the marks are barely noticeable unless you know they are there....just very tiny impact dents, and one tiny scuff. I have tried to get a couple of close ups with a 5p coin for reference. But the reflection of the window makes the chips look bigger than they are... This bass will come with a strap, a truss rod allen key, and a saddle allen key. £300 posted within UK. Overseas is potential, but you will need to deal with your own import taxes ect. I've sold basses on here before without a hitch, so you can trust me Also check out my Queen tribute called "Rhapsody". Matt
 9. I've not heard of this make... Do you think it would be rugged enough for being put in the hold of a plane..?
 10. I have the above for sale. 307 watts output. 4 ohm minimum (two speaker outs), fan cooled, active/passive inputs, post EQ DI, octaver. Gain and volume controls. I've been using it to power two cabs, and have had no problems with it. I've cleaned all the pots, put on brand new knobs, and refurbished/cleaned it as much as I can. The photo is before I cleaned it and put new pots on...more photos to follow as its currently being borrowed. The only downside is the v-meter plastic cover has a crack and a small hole in it, but I've covered it over with transparent plastic. The meter still works. This is one of the older (possibly first) lines of this model, but that hasn't stopped it being uber reliable and powerful. £150 pick up from Brighton, or I can post for £10. 11. Yeah the Status ones come in a 40-100 gauge. I love these nylons wound strings... I have a P bass with P/J config, and the strings sound so tasty. And I know I've said it before, but they keep a constant sound/tone throughout their playable lives

Good condition. The top grill is slightly depressed, but all the faders are there, and work fine. Sounds great. There is a strip of Velcro stuff attached to the bottom, and I will put in a bit more of it to stick to your board. £30 pick up from Brighton, or I can post for extra £3. I don't have a power supply for it, but a 9v battery, or any 9v power supply will work.
 13. I've been a flatwound string player for about 3 years. Before that I was a roundwound. When I used roundwounds, I loved the tone that settled in after about a week of playing them....but this tone didn't last long and I was always disappointed when the tone dulled, and that I couldn't find a constant sound. So I tried Elixr coated roundwounds....they were great, not too bright, and didn't dull. The only problem was that my sweaty hands, and frantic playing lead to the coating freying and eventually peeling off....which not only looks crap, but dulls the sound considerably. So, I eventually went to using Fender Flatwounds. They feel great under the fingers, and the tone, (although duller than round wounds), lasts as long as the string does! I've only had one breakage with the flat wounds in 3 years). BUT, I randomly found a video online about these Nylon Tapewound strings...so I thought I'd give them a go. They are AMAZING!! £23 for a set. They have a small metal core, which is wrapped in a black, tough nylon coating. To the touch, they feel like the middle-ground between flats and rounds, and they sound EXACTLY like roundwounds do after about a week of playing...in that they sound bright and attacky, but will never lose their tone. I obviously still wipe them down after gigs, as my sweat seems to be like battery acid! But I thought I'd share this incase there were some others who had the same problem. Matt
