Has a great tonal scope with the parametric dials. I have just bought an installed a brand new 12 inch Soundlab 350 watt, 4 ohm speaker. The amp delivers 150 watts at 4ohms minimum. I know the replacement speaker is a bit overkill...but meh! This amp and new speaker really do sound amazing, and my Jazz bass sounds deep and rounded through it. Very clean, and a great amp Comes with a power lead £130 I live on Coombe Road, Brighton. Or i can drive half way for 40p per mile (round trip)

  5. Yeah I bought a 4 ohm 112 speaker to go in an old combo that I have. But was thinking of using it with the more powerful head as a cab, and selling the amp inside the combo. I guess I'll just have to play both side by side and see the difference
  6. Hi all. Apologies for starting another question here, but I was rather hoping for some advice from people who have experienced this rather than problem solving as such: I have a 300 watt head at 4 ohm minimum. I now have the choice of either a 4 ohm 1x12 cab OR an 8 ohm 1x15 cab. The 1x12 will recieve full power from the head whilst the 1x15 will probably receive about 180 or so watts. I know that difference in wattage means a very small amount in perceived volume, but have any of you had experience of this kind of speaker set up? I only want one cab to keep my rig to as small as possible, but I want the best sound out of the amp. Many thanks. Matt

Sounds great and a great addition to your pedal board. Very clean, just a few tiny scuffs on it. It still has the plastic coating on the bottom. Great looking and great sounding guitar! This guitar is in really great condition, and all frets are fine with no buzz at all. The only main "ding" on this guitar is there is a light scratch that runs for about 7 frets on the wood of the fretboard underneath the high E string near the sound hole end. You can see it in the photo. I started to sand it out, but it started discolouring the fretboard, so I left it. This isn't really visible from a distance, and has no effect on the sound whatsoever. Comes with a Stagg softcase - the case only has one shoulderstrap as the other one ripped off, and one of the zips has half the tab missing...but still works great as a case! £50 I live on Coombe Road in Brighton, or I can meet you half way for 40p per mile (round trip).

Has valve preamp. Real powerhouse, and has NEVER let me down. Comes with carry bag (the zip tag on the front pocket has snapped off, but you can still unzip it), power cable, and two speaker cables which are Speakon to Jack. The head and the power cable were PAT tested last September, and have the stickers on them. Plays perfect! Unfortunately the black fabric of the bag has stained the white paint of the head a bit...and there is the usual wear of a small amount of slight scuffing on the paint, but nothing major. £280 I live on Coombe Road in Brighton. Or I can drive half way to meet you for 40p per mile (round trip). Blurb: Maintaining the size of the original Tiny Terror, the Terror Bass 500 is a 500 watt hybrid amplifier with a Class D solid state power section and the AD200B twin-valve 12AX7 preamp. Note: The Bass Terror does not require rebiasing when replacing tubes. Controls: Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, Gain, Active/Passive Switch. Features: Switchable Impedance 4 or 8 ohms Output: 500 watts RMS Dimensions: (WxHxD) 30 x 17 x 14 cm Weight: 5 kg

Amazing cab! I believe this used to be the bottom half of a Mag 300 combo that has been modified into a cab of its own Impedance is 8 ohms. Has two (1/4 inch) jack inputs on the back. A comfortable handle either side. Not very heavy...can be lifted with one hand if needed! Is covered with a carpet skin...a bit scuffed and a bit stained in places, as is the front grille, but barely visible really. Sounds really bright and tight. £80 I live on Coombe Road in Brighton. Or I can drive and meet you half way for 40p per mile (round trip).
