3. Yea the switches were put in before I got it...pretty annoying and pointess really. The bridge pup sounds phenomenal...
 4. Hi, Do you know what the year of manufacture is? Thanks!
 5. Cheers! The neck is a 4-screw bolt on. Standard mono input. I was checking out those "Retrovibe" basses that kinda look like Rics, but I'm glad I held out for the one I've got. I use it with a Sansamp VT pedal...the character function really brings out the toppy growl Raaaaw!!
 6. Hi, I have an Aria RE550 made in 1976. It's an extremely well made copy of a Ricky 4001. The bass is in overall pretty good condition, with a few scuffs and scratches that come with a 36 year old instrument. Apart from my one which I picked up on eBay about 6 months ago (I won't give away the price I paid for it yet..), I have never come across one, or even heard about them. For re-selling sake, I was wondering if anyone out there would have an idea as to the amount that you think it would sell for...not necessarily what you'd want to pay for it, but what you would think it should be...(if that makes any sense!). I enclose a pic of it, plus a video of me playing it (the sound quality is pretty sh*te as it's my iPhone).
 7. I have a single Fender Jazz Bass decal for sale. I believe it's the 70's style logo. There is also three small "offset contour body" decals. They are easy to put on....just soak them in warm water for 20-30 seconds, then apply to bass. The Jazz bass decal has been already been trimmed, but you can make a neater job of it. £8 and free postage. My ID on eBay is matt_s_26 if you want to view my 100% feedback.
 8. I have for sale a collection of 15 Guitar World magazines. The average condition of the magazines is good, to very good. A couple of them have ripped or crumpled back pages. The dates are as follows: Februay 2004 April 2004 May 2004 July 2004 August 2004 September 2004 October 2004 November 2004 Holiday 2004 January 2005 February 2005 April 2005 May 2005 July 2005 November 2005 Pretty heavy altogether so postage might be quite expensive. I live in Brighton, so you could pick them up of you want. £25 for the lot. My ID on eBay is matt_s_26 if you want to check my 100% feedback on there

I live in Brighton, so you could pick them up of you want. £35 for the lot. My ID on eBay is matt_s_26 if you want to check my 100% feedback on there
 10. I have for sale the March 2005 edition of Guitar World magazine, which is the tribute edition to the late Dimebag Darrell. The magazine is in great condition, but with a few surface scuffs, and a tiny rip on the front page. £5. £6 with postage. I live in Brighton, so you could pick it up. 12. Hi! Yea it's a marvellous bass....soooo happy with it as I've always wanted a Ric, but could obviously never afford one! It's a fireglo 4001 copy...check this old catalogue: http://www.matsumoku.org/models/aria/catalogs/78_diamond/78_aria-diamond_pg2.jpg.html I bought it for just shy of £300 about 6 months ago.
 13. I'm willing to do a straight swap with this pickup for some sort of semi-hard case. I need a sturdy soft case that will protect me bass from being in the van, but that also has back straps so I can carry it across town. Ta.
 14. This is for a "toaster"style pickup taken from an original 1976 Aria RE550 bass. The Aria RE550 bass was pretty much a direct copy of the Rickenbacker 4001. The pickup sounds really warm and lovely for nearly 36 years old. I made a couple of recordings of the pickup which you can hear: http://snd.sc/vHEqCH The first riff is with tone pot all the way, and then there is a pause, and the second riff is with the tone pot rolled off. I'm selling the pickup as I use the bridge-bar pickup most of the time with my bass, and I would like to put in a replacement soon. The back springs are included, but unfortunately the heads of the fitting screws were too rusty to use again. Also, one of the small screws that holds the pickup onto the plate is missing, but this isn't really a problem at all. £50 including postage. I live in Brighton.
 15. If it were nearer to me, then I would...I'm looking for a 15" combo.
 16. I would love this combo...unfortunately I'm waiting for my Laney 2x10 combo to sell first so that I have some money...shame!
 17. Yea man, it's such a great little workhorse. I've used it in a pub called Pav Tav in Brighton which my function band play at every other monday, and I'm always getting compliments on how powerful it sounds
 18. Hi,

For sale is a Laney RB7 2x10 bass combo.

The combo is actually 150 watts when used on it's own, which is plenty for a small venue...the two 10 inch speakers really kick out some sound. Most venues will mic up/DI the bass anyway, so 150 watts is fine. The amp has an angled back, so you can point it up at you like a monitor if you want.

When used with the 8 ohm speaker out, the amp can deliver it's full 300 watts. I used this amp with a 4x10 Ashdown cab and it sounded sweeeet...not to mention looked really kool!

I've used this quite a lot in the past 2 years, so there is the obvious "gig wear and tear" on the casing.

All the knobs are there. The rubber on the handles has come off, so I've duct taped some (clean!) socks on there.

The amp sounds great, but sometimes there is a slight crackling sound on sustained notes....this is most likely a tone/volume pot that needs cleaning or something.

I'm ideally looking to get a combo that contains a 1x15 speaker with the same power output, so I would be willing to do a trade....

 Looking for £220 ono.

I live in Brighton...not overly keen on arranging postage for this...
