1. Hell yeah, apart from what you've already pointed out, the Sterling is just smaller (and lighter) all over, the pickguard is different, there's a pup switch and (not obvious to the eye I know but) the pups are wired completely differently. There, now you have more to love them for.
2. It's a relatively easy mistake... but for them that has 'em they are glaringly different in quite a few ways.
3.
er.... I like his Natural 'ray......
Er.. Sterling.
4. LOL I'm considering buying back the FX25B (great for quacky Flea noises). But how do you fancy a swap on either a NANO Doctor Q or a Bassballs (USA) for the BF-2B?
5. Can't you just adjust the bridge intonation to combat that?
6.

Sadowsky blues?

D'you know what if, I was Fender, I'd sue.
7. That serial definitely is Feb '93 though. source They seem to have been doing a run of trans teal at that time. Maybe the neck-plate's not the original one. Cross reference your headstock and bridge in the link above and see what you turn up.
8.
Nah its the Guvnor plus, I'd be lucky to find any of them Mark 1s about
Phew. The toys would have been right out of the pram if it was.
9. Oh man I hope your Guv'nor isn't the UK mark 1 version as I've only just bought one.... for almost half as much again of what you're asking.
10. That serial dates it as a '93.
11. Second hand 'rays seem to be going for around 700-800 at the moment. What's the serial number? It will be either on the bridge or neck plate.
12. I wouldn't worry too much about them.
13. I still like the hoof in the nuts idea.
14.
...and a reverse Explorer...
I quite like that, apart from the headstock which kinda looks like Jeremy Beadle's wee hand somehow.
15.
+1 for Crook
I believe we're up to +4
16. If it's a fairly unique item (which I presume it is otherwise he'd just send out another one) mark him as a favourite seller and see if your item magically pops up again. If it does, send the boys round to hoof him in the nuts... ... or alternatively grass him up to ebay (quoting your item number) for not honouring the binding contract they say you enter into when bidding.
17. Wow that's just not like them. I used to get replies to my emails like 20 minutes after I sent them. I dealt with a great fella by the name of Guy Morel. PM me if you want his email. I hope you get it sorted soon.
18. Yeah they're quite pretty. I've often wondered what the quality on these would be like. Maybe someone should get one and review it for us. :brow: There's always the 14 day money back guarantee.
19. Unusual way around for that P pup is it not.
20. I'm really surprised that Ashdown aren't looking after you. I've only ever had astounding service from them. What are they saying?
