When I saw this on Jools I was amazed that they'd managed to become an even more annoying/terrible band.

I'd be interested to hear where you guy's are putting your pedal compressors in your chain, I've got T-req squeezer sitting on my side as I could never settle with it in the chain plus I found it added a tone of noise and tended to cause feedback (although I'm tending to miss the feedback these days) but considering getting back out and playing around with

The guitarist in my band has just purchased a Bass VI, and has some questions which i've posted below hoped that some of you folks in here may have experience of these
hi. i'm the proud owner of a new Squier VM Bass VI. I've got a few questions; apologies if these have been answered or posted about previously. I'm looking to change the saddles, maybe the bridge. Will mustang saddles work on a Bass VI (like on my Jazzmasters) or are the string spaces/furrows wrong? I can't afford a staytrem or other similar replacement bridge unfortunately.will anything else drop in? Secondly the Squier site says the bass comes with .025 to .095 strings. is this correct? the low E string its certainly a little floppy. Where's best to buy replacement sets of this gauge. Certainly ebay mostly lists 0.85 sets which isn't heavy enough for me. hope you can help, thanks in advance.
I used a Rumble 75 tilk back combo a few week's ago and was suprised by what it could pump out, sounded nice although I used my Behringer DBI21 to goose it If they've just intergrated some of Genz know how to make sure the D-class power module and power supplies are good (which it sounds like they might by Eude's comments about using the same power sections as the higher rated Genz stuff, then I think these should be pretty nice amps, the sound clips sound very nice anyway

T-Rex Squeezer £120 posted Tube-driven compressor. T-rex say Squeezer is a tube-driven compressor for studio, guitar and bass use. It smoothens out your sound and keeps you right where you want to be in the mix – while enhancing your sound with rich tube warmth. And it naturally gives you complete control of all essential parameters, letting you craft a compression that’s all your own. Squeezer used with bass Bass players tend to get buried in the mix – and it’s not just because guitarists are always turning up the volume! Your bass has a low frequency range, which makes it difficult for the human ear to distinguish in the first place. And the techniques bass players use – from atmospheric open-string drones to popping and slapping – cover a wider dynamic range than almost any other instrument in your band. Squeezer evens your dynamics out, making your lines come through at the right level, no matter how you’re playing. Pictures to follow tonight
