  11. omg dude you saw the original level 42 im so jealous!!! bet it was the dogs doo-dah's, the closest ive come to seeing the mark king tone live was when i went to see shakatak, and was literally standing as close to this computer screen to george andeson, what a player!!! but mark king...thats aanother story, would love to see him the goulds lindup and the jaydee back in action!!!! x

  13. i always thought that the 30-90 strings on my jaydee were bendy and so easy to work around without losing the low end punch, and there rotosounds or elites x
  14. jaydees are simply the best (in my opinion), just blasted mine away to a few tunes, 'pursuit of accidents', 'too young to die', 'teen town', e.t.c. for a bit amazing, i love my bass its never ever leaving me, i need an amp!!!!!!!!!! but i havent got the money due to driving lessons, car insurance and so on...cant wait to get a rig though , neighbours wont be happy... what dya think? dont laugh at the pic of me haha!!! x

  16. hey i remember this bass///haha!!! it has a great sound and feel to it actually i loved it for the period of time that i had it, and when i disconnected the tone wire it was a seriously good match for playing along with stingray tracks such as: get on the floor by micheal jackson thinking of you by chic and the early chillis stuff... looking better now though buddy keep up the good work... marcus x

  18. ive seen this bass in a music shop in rugby today was going to plug it in and have a go, but im not really big on 5 strings looks in brand new condition though, so have a bump on me x

[/quote] yeah but to be honest my mum and dad are quite skint at the moment and i think that i need to concentrate on concentrate on driving lessons e.t.c, but i really want this, i love the old status sound.   21. thanks mate, i think it out performs the contemporary hofner series as they have a solid body, this is hollow, hence you can get that 60's sound down to a treat... someone must want this? BUMP!
