Ive been poking around trace elliot stuff and found that their heads are going for quite alot considering how low the output is. Ive read that a 300 watt trace is like a 500 watt of somthing else Is that true?

im looking at buying either an ashdown or trace elliot 4x10 cab, but i live in north devon so i cant it up. But i dont want the delivery price to be more than the amp Help please!

im quite happy with my technical ability but my theory is somewhat lacking. i know the pentatonic scales well but not many others. i want to be able to improvise in the major and minor scales and dip into modes but i dont realy know where to start. Any books you would advise?

im in a small band with two guitarists myself a singer and a drummer, all i can hear is the drummer and my hearing going Anyone else had this?

Well i want a strong punchy tone. ive tried out loads of fenders but the pickups were always noisy and weak. im looking at emg and bartolini at the mo. Anyone have emg jvx's?

if theres already a thready about this i apologise. im looking to buy a warmoth bass, what preamp/pickups would you put in? im going to go active for the more versitile tone

How hard is it to assemble one? i think im going to use emg for the electronics and they dont need soldering so that shouldent be too bad. But what about bolting the neck on, how hard it that to do?

i think im gona get either ash or maple with a quilted maple top. im looking at emg for pickups, do they sell wiring kits and pots aswell?

ive stumbled across the warmoth website and it looks great. Anyone had any experience with them?

How do you go around making your own bass? i would like to end up with a jazz style bass with some tweaks and a different look. Any advise on how to obtain body's (or making my own) necks and electronics, also paints or finishes. oh and cost.

i have a btb 670 and its fantastic, its so versitile and the tone is amazing, also good for slap. i would highly recomend it

ive had trouble finding drum beats to jam to. are there any good sites or cheap pedals or somthing you would recoment? Many thanks
