Cheers for all the reply's guys, this is just an idea, i have no amazing woodwork skills or tools. im not sure where i would start . What sort of tools/machinary would be required?

I am now in possesion of a homemade 2x10 cab (originaly for guitar). Im looking for some speakers for under 100 pounds.On ebay there's quite a few emminence and celestions. I'm a complete noob when it comes to things like this so any help would be greatly apreciated. Cheers

i'm looking at hartke and will either go for the lh500 or the ah3500 The LH is cheaper and more powerfull so im swaying towards it, plus victor wooten ususes the 1000 watt version. Any opinions on either of them? cheers

ive been looking at dingwall bass's and they sound amazing. But i dont fully understand the purpose of fanned frets. Whatever they do they look rather cool

Haven't tried the neon's but Hi beams are simply amazing, great bright tone from the packet, and i've had mine on for over 7 months and they aren't anywhere near dead yet.

Calm down guys, its only a debate about fenders I would much prefer a custom made Overwater/Shuker over a fender that has no features above a normal fender. In fact i'm sure you could get a Precision or jazz from either one that has better build quality.

I wouldent rule out another Ibby, I'm looking up a sr1400 premium

Ive always been a tad confused as to why the MIA fenders are so expensive, when they have basicly the same conponents as the MIJ models. And as oposed to other brands they are very expensive. For example, why does this cost 2000 pounds more than a MIJ p bass? Hey folks, just turned my teeny 30 watt and the voloume was reaaly load and it was distorting under the lowest voloumes. i can safely rule out my bass as it's fine through other amps.

im interested in all of these at the mo. i tried the classic 450 a couple of weeks ago. it sounded amazing. Havnt tried the MB or Hartke yet though.

ibanez has my vote. Very thin neck's and the BTB's will definately not look small on you.
