It might be helpful to define what the OP means by "really narrow" ... is that 16.5mm? 14mm? As far as I'm concerned, anything less than 19mm is "narrow" and anything less than 17.5mm is "unplayable".
I've never seen a bass with 14 mm spacing (but i'm wondering what is the string spacing in a fretted 6 string CT that Les Claypool have, it's look like the narrowest spacing ever), i can imagine only that it might be a true unplayable. I think 16.5mm would be perfect for me. My problem is especially the pinky finger, sometimes when i play on the higher positions it's almost impossible for me to play notes on the E string with my pinky so belive me, when i say i've got a small hands it's not an excuse.

Hi there, I'm planning to move myself into a 5'ver, but i'm looking for a bass with a really narrow string spacing and neck as i''ve got a really small hands. On the other side i dont have too much money so i cant order a custom bass. I'm thinking about tuning in a high C instead of low B string so 34" scale or lower will be a plus. I was wondering if the Spector Euro 5lx will do the job? It's a 35" scale but strings spacing at bridge is 0.66" so i think it's a quite narrow, am i right? I'll send my naked pictures for the best advice

Okay, I've picked this bass as a trade from here, but i'm still looking for something else. This is a Kubicki Ex-Factor bass in white, made in 1989 in Fender Custom Shop, but with 18v preamp and 6 position switch. These are a very unique basses, huge tonal range thanks to the preamp, and really lightweight! Headless means forget about the neck diving. This bass is 22 years old and have been used by previous owner (or owners) a lot, so there is a few small dings and one bigger wchich you can see on the pics. There is also some lacquer cracks, but these are nothing serious, only lacquer and not the wood. All of them you can see on the pics. Fast and slim neck, 32" scale witch a 36" scale E string extension (D-tuner). Frets are in perfect condition. This is a really comfortable and great sounding bass, you can find many great reviews of these bases around the internet. Unexpected expenses just hit me so this one has to go immediately, so price is bargain [s]750£[/s] 725£ ONO And this is collection only as i dont have a hardcase and i dont want to risk postage in gig-bag. I'm just wondering if he (that guy) installed the logo or factory did this? There is no close-up photo but even on these pictures i can see there is a Fender logo, i know you can find many of Fender replacement logo's around the internet but i've never seen Marcus Miller logo for sale anywhere.

Yup, it's definitely a copy, there is no binding on the neck (i think) and there is no separate battery cover on the scratchplate and no badass bridge.

http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/marcus-m...e-bass/81515687 This is the first time i've seen something like this. Looks like a really nice work, and it's a five string model copy wchich originaly Fender made in U.S.A. and these models are as twice expensive as the Japanese four string model. Even if the hardware, pickups and electronics are cheap chinese stuff 185 pounds for this bass seems to be a great bargain. If i had some spare cash i'd try this one!

Hi guys, I've got Boss ME-20B multi effects pedal, great little piece of gear, a lot of effects! I bought it maybe a bit more than two weeks ago for the same price (collected), but i'm not using this and im trying to raise some funds for my bass body refinish. There is some video i've recorded when i bought it, nothing special, just using some synth effect, you can find many more videos on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jgv8OCOkUo So i'm looking for 75 pounds and that include cheapest royal mail postage. If you'd like special next day delivery that will be a bit extra pennies towards me as they charging a lot more for that. Comes in original box and with manuals. I'm in north-west London
Scratched or dinged, truss rod cover or not, that bass looks amazing.. Did you have a sale price in mind as I wouldnt really want to part with either of my Fenders!!
Yeah, this bass is really stunning, looks and sounds fantastic, and to be honest i'm thinking about withdrawn after every moment spent together with this bass. I dont have any price in mind, at the moment i've got only this Warwick, and that's why i'm looking for trade only.
