  1. For sale I have a Geiger Counter (Civilian Issue) bit crusher pedal from WMD. With 32 customisable presets, it's far more versatile than most bit crushers on the market - you signal is run through a high gain modern preamp, into an 8 bit computer - giving sounds which range from the nice (warm, tubey overdrive... lo-fi aliasing... searing gated leads) to total nastiness (seemingly unlimited amounts of gain, multiple octave foldover, harsh digital glitching, and piercing sculpted noise.) It has a much more user-friendly interface compared to the original - and covers a tiny footprint! Controls - Stomp Switch - Like all WMD pedals, this pedal is handwired and true bypass, so it won't affect your tone when disabled. When the pedal is on, the red LED will be lit. - Gain - The gain control provides anywhere from a nice clean tone to a ton of overdrive. Tweak this to hit the Function tables harder or softer to produce different amounts of harmonics. - Tone - The tone control can be used to fine tune the harmonic content from the Function tables. Use lower settings for fewer upper level harmonics. - Function - Twisting this knob will cause the number on the display to change. It goes 0 to 9 and A to F. This selects the 16 presets inside the pedal. Push the knob in to activate the Low Fidelity mode for each preset. Each Function recalls parameters from the original Geiger Counter including the Bit Depth, Sample Rate and the Wave Table. The wave tables are displayed in the manual file. As your guitar string swings up and down, the wave table is played left to right from the center. The output is what's vertically on the graph. The more movement in the Function, the more harmonic content you'll get out. - Volume - Sets the output volume of the GCCI which can be up to 5Vpp, enough to really crush your amp's input stage. More from WMD (including a demo video) here. Pedal is in as-new shape, works flawlessly (off of a standard 9v power supply) - offers some WILD sounds with really easy tweak-ability, and can be posted (tracked) within the UK for £5
  2. For sale I have a now out-of-production Diabolik fuzz pedal from Malekko. There's one small blemish shown in the photograph - a very light black smudge upon the upper edge of the front facing. Pedal is in perfect condition apart from that one mark - and has 2 small strips of velcro (easily removed) on the back. From Malekko The Diabolik fuzz pedal is based on the B:Assmaster circuit and while working with Justin on refining it’s signature sound, we tuned it specifically to allow more low end to pass through both the Clean and Fuzz channels. The result is a pedal that ranges from a subtle harmonic fuzz to extreme, mangled low end squash that’s perfect for bass and guitar alike. It’s three knob design makes for quick and easy dialing: “FUZZ” controls the fuzz volume, “CLEAN” controls the dry signal’s volume and “SQUISH” controls the saturation of the fuzz. The Diabolik’s tone preset allows for singing, bright analog harmonic octave overtones (high SQUISH setting), to biting, aggressive, fast attack tone (low SQUISH setting). Fuzz circuits are notorious for reducing the low end of the signal passed through it. The beauty of this design is that with bass, drum machine, keyboards, guitar even, when you bring in the dry signal (CLEAN control), you effectively have no low end loss. The CLEAN control can also bring back the clarity of the original sound if the fuzz is too extreme. More from Malekko (including a demo video) here. Pedal is in great shape, works flawlessly - some WILD sounds available, takes a standard 9v power supply, and can be posted (tracked) within the UK for £5

  7. Just (quite reluctantly!) sold Shep my Iron Ether FMeron pedal Super smooth transaction - prompt payment, great communication throughout A thoroughly decent chap! Highly recommended! Rich
  8. A few have DM'd me asking for the instrument production number - this is Wing Bass #312 (Just in case it helps any others who are interested) Thanks! Rich
  9. @Quatschmacher - Not sure if it's the light/angle of the original pic, or there's some dust or a particle in the air in that original pic, but I can see why you ask - weird! - everything's in it's right place... I've attached another pic, showing the top fret inlay dot - everything's as it should be Thanks!
  10. For sale I have an as-new Wing Bass Classic 4. It's a remarkable little instrument - extremely portable, and has a surprisingly wide range of tones available from the Bartolini pickup. The size and playability means that it's a very hard instrument to resist picking it up and noodling... From Wing Instruments; "The Wing Bass Classic is the one that started it all. The only differences between this instrument and a full sized bass are the tuning (the Wing is tuned one octave higher – the equivalent of playing the twelfth fret and above), and portability. The Wing Bass uses standard strings and gauges and standard string spacing so your technique building exercises can be retained when you return to your main bass. It’s extremely light and portable so whether your just hanging around the house, traveling on business, camping, whatever, you can always have an instrument to keep your chops up with." Specs Weight - 6.5 lbs (2.9 kg) Scale - 16" (40.64 cm) Tuners - Hipshot Headless System String Spacing - 19 mm (0.750") Pickup - Bartolini X4 Bass Soapbar (Hum-canceling) Bass is in as-new condition - I can't find a mark on it (the cellophane is still on the rear control cavity cover.) Included in the sale is the original Wing Bass gig bag (specially made to fit the instrument,) strap, and adjustment tools - all the goodies that came with the bass from the guys at Wing Instruments themselves. Priced cheaper than the RRP.... save on import charges, AND avoid the current 32-34 week wait on these remarkable instruments! Ideally, the bass is to be collected from me in-person in Derbyshire (DE75) - however I may be able to ship within the UK at buyer's risk and cost (please DM me if interesting in doing so.)
  11. For sale I have a rare CSIDMAN pedal from Catalinbread, in as-new condition. From Catalinbread; "Yes, it's digital. Did I stutter? What are the artifacts of antiquated technologies that have merit in a musical context? Why can't we create a pedal that intentionally embraces technological limitations that musicians haven't widely utilized? I see technology as the optimistic push through the limitations of existing paradigms: limitations in materials, processes, functionality, cost, and foresight. With each spearhead of technology, the limitations of incumbents are resolved. All too often, a slew of new issues are introduced that the marketplace is willing to overlook, at least for a short period of time. It isn’t too long before the marketplace demands better, and is willing to abandon the past and pay for the next-generation solution. So I got to thinking, “What are the artifacts of other antiquated technologies that have merit in a musical context? If David Byrne can find a way to use Powerpoint in an artistic way, why can’t we create a pedal that intentionally embraces technological limitations that musicians haven’t widely utilized?”" A truly unique pedal, hand-built in Portland, Oregon. Capable of some great 'traditional' delays... but when you begin introducing the 'Cuts' and 'Latch' features and introduce some glitch, then the fun REALLY begins. There are some great demo videos on YouTube if you're not already familiar. Pedal is in great shape , works flawlessly, takes a standard 9v power supply, and can be posted (tracked) within the UK for £5
  12. For sale I have a Mothership II synth pedal from Pigtronix, in as-new condition (with original box and all associated goodies.) From Pigtronix; "Mothership 2 is a velocity-sensitive, pitch-tracking, 3-voice analog synthesizer with oscillator hard sync and pitch modulation via portamento and CV / Expression control. A user-friendly guitar synth with real-time pitch and amplitude tracking, Mothership 2 offers switchable preset tunings and a devastating Sync effect that delivers new modulation effects for guitar, bass and beyond. The dashboard of the Mothership 2 contains five custom-made dual-concentric potentiometers and a pair of toggle switches. The top row of controls provides individual level knobs for VCO (triangle wave) and Square wave voices as well as the original Clean guitar sound and a gut-busting Sub-octave Sine wave voice that can be removed from the main mix bus and sent to its own dedicated bass amplifier when the SUB output jack is used." More info from Pigtronix here. Pedal is in great shape , works flawlessly, and can be posted (tracked) within the UK for £5
  13. For sale I have a Context (v.1) Reverb pedal from Red Panda, in as-new condition. From Red Panda; "The Context combines world-class reverb algorithms with a clean signal path. All of the algorithms are adjustable so that you can get the right combination of pre-delay, reverb time, and tone. Reverb time is adjustable from very tight to nearly endless. The cathedral algorithm adds slight modulation to the trails, for vast ambient washes of sound. The plate algorithm gives you control over low- and high-frequency response for crisp, defined reverb even with bass instruments. Gated reverb gives you big booming drums from the 1980's, but is also great for adding power to guitar while maintaining transparency and space between notes. Finally, there is delay plus reverb for that versatile combination in one pedal. Context adds depth to your sound without unwanted coloration. The dry signal passes through Burr-Brown op amps and WIMA poly film caps in a 100% analog signal path. An internal switch selects between true bypass and trails. True bypass completely removes the Context from your signal path when not needed. Trails allows the reverb to decay naturally, and also works as a high-quality buffer. With trails on, the blend control is active in bypass to maintain a consistent volume." It's a fantastically unique boutique pedal... built like a tank... and capable of some really rich sounds - from the subtle to the sublime... fans of ambient washy soundscape nonsense - this is the pedal for you! Pedal is in great shape , works flawlessly, takes a standard 9v power supply, and can be posted (tracked) within the UK for £5
  14. For sale I have a fairly rare FMeron from Iron Ether, in as-new condition. From Iron Ether; "FMeron is a frequency modulation (FM) synthesizer, controlled by the pitch and dynamics of your bass or guitar. It starts with two pure sine wave oscillators which both track the frequency of the notes you play into it. One oscillator, called the Modulator, is not heard directly – instead it's used to modulate the frequency of the main oscillator, called the Carrier. This modulation transforms the pure sine tones into all kinds of clangs, bells, and intense electronic timbres. The octave switch allows FMeron's synthesized tones to track one octave below, one octave above, or at the same pitch as your playing. FMeron also includes an envelope generator, triggered by plucking the strings of your instrument. This envelope can be set to ramp up (Attack) or down (Decay) when triggered, and can either control the amount of FM (thus the intensity of the added harmonics over time) or the volume of the synthesizer voice, for slow-attack or percussive, plucky sounds." More info available via Iron Ether here Pedal is in great shape , works flawlessly, takes a standard 9v power supply, and can be posted (tracked) within the UK for £5
  15. For sale I have a fairly rare Dubterranea from Iron Ether, in as-new condition. From Iron Ether; "Dubterranea is a multi-octave pitch-tracking oscillator, capable of generating classic synthesizer waveforms in three octaves simultaneously. When combined with the Xerograph Deluxe filter, the pair form a full subtractive synthesizer, allowing a bass or guitar (or voice, saxophone, etc...) to create a wide variety of thick electronic timbres - all with an immediate, intuitive, one-knob-per-function interface. The pedal contains two synth voices - one playing in unison with the note you play, and a second that can be switched between one octave up and one octave down. Waveforms can be selected independently for each of these voices, each with its own distinct timbre - triangle, sawtooth, square, and narrow pulse. Additionally, there is a third voice based on classic octave-down pedals. This voice's tone is influenced by the sound of your original note, with a dedicated Timbre knob that removes harmonics at one end - for an extremely deep, smooth, almost sine wave sound - and then progressively adds harmonics at the top end, for extra gritty, harmonically rich sounds perfect for feeding into the Xerograph Deluxe filter. A second foot switch turns the synth voices on and off, allowing the pedal to be used both as a traditional octave down pedal, and a synthy oscillator, without adjusting controls. The synth voices also have their own dedicated effects loop, so that effects can be applied only to these voices, and an entire synth chain can be switched on and off with the Synths stomp switch." More info available via Iron Ether here Pedal is in great shape , works flawlessly, takes a standard 9v power supply, and can be posted (tracked) within the UK for £5
  16. Insane fuzz pedal from the mind of Ben Hinz. Built like a tank, and capable of conventional dirty fuzz through to some crazy oscillating sputtering... a legendary boutique fuzz from the now unfortunately closed-down Dwarfcraft Devices. Controls-wise - the Volume, Gain and Tone knobs will all be familiar and self-explanatory to most. There's a broad of sounds available to suit your style of playing and preferred tone. The signature feature of The Great Destroyer is the Starve feature. This dial controls the amount of power being fed to the circuit. Turned fully clockwise, The great Destroyer gives your standard fuzz sounds... but as you roll the dial anti-clockwise, and begin starving the circuit of power - you'll hear the oscillator kick-in, giving rhythmic sputtering swirling sounds... glitchy squeaks and bleeps which interfere with the instrument's signal. It's a unique effect that's hard to put to words - there are some great demo videos on YouTube if you're not already familiar. Pedal is in great shape , works flawlessly, takes a standard 9v power supply, and can be posted (tracked) within the UK for £5
  17. Bought Si's Malekko Diabolik and Darkglass Vintage Microtubes - great communication throughout, pedals were really securely packed, and arrived nice and fast - top bloke! Highly Recommended
  18. I've had the pleasure of doing business with Lee a few times now - most recently, this past week I was lucky to nab his 'Prunes & Custard' off of him. As with my previous dealings with Lee, he was perfectly prompt, super-communicative, posted the pedal super-quick, and the friendliest guy you could wish to meet throughout. I can't recommend Lee enough - and I hope to do business with him again in future, just as soon as the GAS hits again! Rich
