  1. This is possibly the best instruction video ever:
  2. Did the person with the wanted ad buy it then?
  3. Guess you could replace the toggle switch with one of these😆: https://www.carbuilder.com/uk/long-stalk-momentary-toggle-switch?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIn-C-wKiv9wIVlu3tCh1bsARoEAQYAiABEgIkJ_D_BwE
  4. @JustaBass could I please take the Octave?
  5. They didn’t say “larger”, they said “upgraded”.
  6. @virtual_mt has a wanted ad for one of these.
  7. Lush! Glad you love it. Looking forward to getting mine.
  8. Is your gripe the cost or the number of pieces of equipment? An upgraded version that doesn’t require additional hardware would still cost as much as a C4 plus small controller.
  9. @andybassdoyle, @dodge_bass
  10. Great deal for someone right here.
  11. That’s nowt. Try paying $3500 upfront for a MIDIbass that takes nearly four years to get built!
  12. Lush. Have you bought it? If you’re not going to, could you please share the link.
  13. No reason why you shouldn’t be able to do this, though the upper two notes will have to be synth notes as opposed to pitch-shifted copies of the original signal.
  14. You can navigate to the preset you want in the app (so can see its name) before you start editing (under burn or browse (can’t remember off the top of my head).
  15. I’m not familiar with what the unibass does; care to explain?
  16. 1.20 is the latest C4 firmware. You’ll need to download the latest version of the desktop editor and it’s included in that.
  17. Latest. Sorry autocorrect failure.
  18. Have you updated the C4 firmware to the layaway version? Absolutely essential.
  19. Anyone into synth owes it to theirself to try one of these.
  20. Indeed; I’ve had a few occasions in my life where I’ve had to let a treasured instrument go in order to pay bills. It sucks.
  21. You can always offer, though they do tend to price after doing realistic research. Always worth a shot.
  22. By the sticky white residue they had to clean off, perhaps?😆
  23. Shops need to make money. I’ve never found it particularly overpriced. Been shopping there for years and picked up some lovely stuff. All really good people working there so happy to pay a bit more to help keep them open. Their used prices are pretty spot on; the values they’ve quoted that they’d sell for when I’ve inquired about selling stuff to them have been mostly borne out by what I’ve sold them for privately.
