1.
On the link you put up, it says the power hadling is 200w. Would that be a problem if you are trying to 'release 300 watts'? If it is ok to do this, I might follow suit.
I'm running 300 watts with BOTH cabs...
2. Ermmm it sounds how I thought a decent 15'' cab would sound?? If that makes sense?? Haven't tried it against a 12 though.
3. In my constant down sizing/weight reduction I bought a Genz Shuttle 3 10 combo. Quite loud but not quite loud enough (and really toppy). Decided to buy a small 2x10 cab to release the full 300 watts. The Ampeg is the smallest, lightest, cheapest, quality cab I could find, and so far it's great. 26lb (two finger lift )and adds loads of punch to the Shuttle with a really distinctive scooped low end. I've never played through a proper fridge, but I'm presuming this hints at what they sound like. Can't go wrong for £250 and it looks great!! It's here if anyone is interested: http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~A...0AV~id~8876.asp
4. I've decided to go back to an amp as I can just about get away with my Genz Benz shuttle 3 and DI to the PA. Budget 800 watt (stereo - 400watts a side) power amp. I bought this new off eBay last year for £250. Front vented and in excellent condition. Looking for £100. Gator wheeled rack case with telescopic handle (just like a wheeled suitcase). I've removed the locks from this as the latch kept getting in the way!! LOL can't remember whether it's 6U or 8U - will check later. Great condition. £70 WILLING TO TAKE OFFERS ON BOTH OF THESE TO GET RID... Collection from Hull/happy to post any of it IF you arrange a courier to collect from my house - I work shifts so collection is quite easy, but with two preschool kids dropping the gear off with a parcel company is difficult...
5. Thanks for that, anyone else??

8. As a band we have always wanted to get into weddings - nothing too serious, couple a month. Just wondered what the best way to get them is? Wedding events or something else? Also apart from the obvious demo and photos, what kind of info package do you give to potential clients? We are thinking of a wedding version of a press kit in a printed cardboard folder with a CD pocket... Any ideas/advice? We've been together two years and are getting relatively tight
9.
EmAil me the files and I'll have a look - [email protected] jay
cheers mate, any chance you can pm me your address as part of the lock is that the files can't be copied...
10. I've ended up with a studio demo with locked wavs recorded in Cubase 5. The tracks won't copy to a PC - the disc can't even be cloned. I've tried everything...and reckon the only way is to run it through Cubase 5. I need it mixing but my mate can't do anything with the tracks in their current state. Does anyone have a trial copy or could anyone convert the files? Cheers James
11.
But, the STL-12T weighs 27 lbs and the STL-10T only weighs 16 lbs. .
That's what I meant - my two choices were the 10T or the Ampeg...anyways I've bought the Ampeg so we'll see how it goes...
12. Is it worth it? Absolutely - cuts through in a band setting quite nicely - but most importantly it's lightweight. After a while of lugging heavy cabs around you get sick of all the problems - of having to ask the drummer for a lift ect...you get the picture. The Genz 3 10 is VERY light. Worth every penny. There is also the option of adding an extension cab (I'm just about to - but I do play in quite a loud band...) which opens up the full 300w as opposed to 175w with the standard speaker. Sounds good at low volume for bedroom practice too. FWIW I got mine as a bedroom amp, but was so impressed that's it's taken over duty from my rack setup.
13.
.... or if you want a little more depth, you could have a listen to the GB neo 12" cabs. They could work well with your combo.
Just had a look but they are HEAVY!!
14. I'm moving to really lightweight gear in a bid to save my back. I've got a Shuttle 3 10 but could do with a little bit more power which I would get with an extension cab and therefore utilising the full 300w as opposed to 175w. Now I could buy a Genz Benz 10'' extension cab for £400 OR I could get an Ampeg Micro VR 2x10 cab for £240... The Genz Benz weighs 16lb, the Ampeg weighs 25lb. I'm moving away from my Eden Nemesis cabs (2x 210) which only weigh 35lb each but are quite bulky (not to mention the 10,0000lbs of my rack gear). Is it worth spending the extra cash on the Genz Benz to match, when I could get more speaker area cheaper? For gigs I have PA support anyways, so this is mainly for rehearsals. Any advice?

16.
Wow, that's a very good price. I wish they had been the bigger ones.
If they had been the bigger ones, they wouldn't have been for sale at that price
17. The project I bought these for is no longer, so I might as well sell these. Completely unused. Please note these are 3/8'' thread and are the smaller post versions. SOLD
18.
From experience with two MM necks, the holes for the machine head ferrules always seem to come up a bit small and may need enlarging...do they fit? P
Seem OK on this one - and incidentally the last one I had too...
19. Here we have for sale a completely unused and unfitted Mighty Mite Jazz neck. Rosewood. Also includes a set of tuners - one of the tuners has a few marks on it as seen in the pictures. No tuner screws - but they are cheap enough to buy!! The logo has had a light coat of nitro - but would require more coats and sanding to make it look original. It looks better in the flesh than the photos suggest... Obviously the neck is as new - no holes drilled at all. SOLD
20. I've decided to sell my Alesis as I dont really have the time or expertise to record my current band. Literally used once!! Immaculate - it does have velcro on the bottom of it, but that will easily peel off. It's this one: http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/68691 Comes with the PSU. Allows 8 simultaneous tracks to be recorded, perfect for a band. Would prefer to trade this for some bass gear - prefer a bass (cash either way) or maybe a micro head To give you an idea, GAK, Soundslive and Dolphin have this for sale at £285. ****NOW FOR SALE £200 plus postage**** I can email pictures to anyone thats interested. Can deliver/collect within about 100 to 150 miles of Hull for the right gear.
21. I've decided to swap my Fender Elite 1 as I don't play it - I bought it as a bit of an investment but darent play it in case I mark it. Comes with the original case (rare as...). They only made these for a couple of years. Active and cuts through in a band setting really well. The gold is in virtually perfect condition and even has all the fine bridge tuners (I've seen a few without all the tuners). The bass is unmarked and recently setup. You will struggle to find another one in this condition - no dings/scratches or marks - looks 6 months old. Looking to swap for a nice Stingray. Would prefer white with maple neck but will consider anything. Would really like a 2 band, but I guess I'm being a bit too specific. Cah wise I'd be looking for a firm £800 as I'd be taking a loss. PM for more pictures. MAY consider other trades for something nice and active. WIll also take cash for something cheaper
22. Bump with price added!!
23. I'd be interested in trying one if I can be added to the list? I'm in Hull and could deliver anywhere up to Leeds/Sheffield/Manchester areas
24.
Just save each files as one long wav then import them ot any DAW wav single files
I don't have Cubase, I'm presuming I can't just change the file extensions?
