1. I'm, looking to alter the EQ on my Superfly head, which I know can be done with the software, but can't see the link to the software on their site anymore...anyone got it?

3.
Hi James My amp has a CD input (two sockets), I just pull out the bass side and lose the bass, and can hear everything else, then I can play the bass line to it. Steve
I thought the inputs would be left and right? Is there anything similar to the guitar port for bassists?
4. Cheers guys - is there anything which does an effective job of removing the bass and not the drums?
5. Hi guys, my MP-BT1 has broken for the second time in 6 weeks. I have developed a bit of a practice routine with it, so don't want to be without something similar. Can someone recommend software for home, and anything similar to the Tascam for taking to work? Oh and I will never buy a Tascam product again

8. Lol sorry, this could get quite long... I've got some backpay due from student loans (turns out I've overpaid the loan by £600, only taken me 6 years...). I currently own an Ashdown Superfly and a Peavey 115. I'm just in the process of forming my first band (been away for 10 years...). I stress my back at work, so am well aware of what carrying excessive weight can do to your back. So I want a cab as light weight as possible (rehearsal room has stairs!). To complicate matters, I was going to pay some finance off with the £600 (HD camcorder if anyone's interested), meaning I can take some gear on tick (only finance we have, paid the cars/cards/loans off last year ). So my dilemna is this: I really like the look of the GK Neo gear, but it is all 8 Ohms. So if I went the GK route, I'd either have to get 4x112s (thinking of the weight...), get 2x112s but only be able to use 2/3rds of the wattage of the Superfly or buy 2x112s plus a head...but I don't want to spend that much on tick!! Second option is to get a pair of custom made 112s from the bass merchant and pay cash. Only problem is they don't look as sexy (yes, I'm a tart ). Also, what if (when) I decide to get a new head? I'd be restricted to 4 Ohm heads?? Planning on playing pop-rock with the band. I must confess that as I've been away for so long, I doubt I'd be able to tell the difference with boutique manufacturers... I'm a bit confused!! What would you do?
9.
Why did you have to post that link? I had decided (and told the missus) I wasn't going to buy any basses this year and now I've just seen this: http://www.musik-produktiv.co.uk/tacoma-olympia-ob3ce.aspx Must resist
Hey, the link was for the cab, I can't help it if your eyes wander

12.
Are these the Purple Chilli cabs he's been thinking about building for some time now....????
Don't know, still awaiting the photos. Basically I phoned asking about Tech Soundsystems when he suggested they could build me one...
13. I'm weighing up my cab options, one of which is to get a custom made 1x12 as I need it in 4ohm. Has anyone had a cab made by them (or seen/heard one by them?). Apparently they are reverse engineered Tech Soundsystems cabs... FWIW been quoted £280 each (I'd like to get two).
14.
I've got a Superfly which I'm running into a homebrew 2x10". I've wired two jack sockets on the cab so that I can either run into one socket and have the speakers in parallel at 4 ohms, or run a separate channel into each of the 8 ohm speakers.
Is there much difference in volume - comparing 2x8ohm to 1x4ohm? As 8ohm cabs seem to be cheaper...not to mention more futureproof.
15. http://www.musik-produktiv.co.uk/eden-neme...p210-4-ohm.aspx Website looks a bit, erm eastern block... Just wondered if these prices are too good to be true? This is £350 at the gallery...
16. Right, I'm still a bit confused so i'll give you more details: The cab in question is a GK Neo 112. The cheapest I can find it in the UK is £309 from Soundslive. The cab from Switzerland is on ebay (new) at £232. Shipping is £40... So, would the price in Switzerland include Swiss tax?
17. I've got the chance of a cab from Switzerland that works out about £40 cheaper after adding postage. Does anyone know what the local Swiss tax is? I seem to recall 23%, which would make it even cheaper. I've bought things from Thomann (Germany) before, but they work out the VAT in the prices... Am I right in thinking that because it's coming from Europe, there are no customs charges?
18. Here for sale is the Stew Mac book 'Refishing Guitars' in immaculate condition. Talks you through everystep of refinishing a guitar from sanding to actual painting. Discusses loads of techniques and tools. Really really useful book. Selling as I'm a numpty, and don't possess the dexterity to fit a scratchplate, nevermind refinishing a guitar!! Looking for £18 posted, which considering I had to pay duty is a lot cheaper than it cost me...2 weeks ago...
19.
Hi, Is it a lined or unlined neck? Nik
Hi, It's lined. James
20. Boss Compressor CS3, Boss limiter/Exciter LMB3 I've had these two a while, but aren't using them. So in order to fund some amp GAS, they need to go. Excellent condition/boxed. Looking for £30 each plus postage. Peavey 115TVX 4Ohm Cab Amp GAS has hit!! Immaculate, bedroom use only (so it's never been pushed hard). No damage to the corners, in fact it could be sitting in a shop looking brand new...it's only about 7 months old Offers Obviously I can't post it, but can deliver for fuel to Sheffield/Manchester/Leeds & Yorkshire (I live in Hull).
21. I need to sell this to fund some amp GAS... I'm sad to see it go, but I don't play guitar at all, so three six stringers is a bit excessive...It's a 15/16ths size - meaning it's slightly smaller than a full size acoustic and perfect for slightly smaller hands (don't let that put you off, this isn't a toy guitar). Have a look around the net for just how well regarded these acoustics are. It was bought new in 2002, and hasn't left the house since purchase. I played six Big Babies before picking this one, best tone by far out of the batch I played!. Comes with a new set of long life strings/Taylor gigbag/warranty card/hang tags (if I can find them!). The marks in the photo are natural swirls in the wood - there is no damage to this guitar I have really looked after this guitar. If you are local, come around and try it!! I REALLY don't want to post this - but could meet in Sheffield/Leeds/Manchester/Yorkshire for some fuel contributions!! Looking for £200 or why??
22. Pictures to follow tonight. Here for sale is my SX Photoflame precision fretless. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but fretless isn't for me It's unmarked (the lines in one of the pictures is just the lighting), and has a new set of D'addario Chrome Flats on it (cost £26). I've done a basic setup (I'm no technical whizz, but it plays a lot better than when it arrived from the US) Looking for £100 which I think is reasonable (bass cost me £140, £26 strings). Rondo have ran out of stock, so you can't buy this new at the moment... I'll deliver to Manchester/Sheffield/ Yorkshire area for fuel costs - or meet half way?. You are welcome to view/try - I live just outside Hull, East Yorkshire Postage is extra, and will be £12 - can post in original box.
