I don t think makes a difference to you sell . If i sell my instrument for £1000 and the buyer then decides to sell it for £1500 is up to them . I wouldn't t buy it but for some people the same instrument might be worth much more . Lots of people are not members here so they rather buy a bass on ebay or online shops.

I guys just out of curiosity .... Atm I m (trying)to learn Havona by weather report. Is driving me nuts but a point feels very rewarding .I ve been on it for 2 weeks now and manage to transcribe the first 3 min . How long did take for yours?

Or just sand down the pickguard spray some plastic primer and spray it black
