1. I've got a Shadow BCP3 cable pre-amp, boxed and fully working. The cable is 6m long (according to the Shadow website) and the preamp has a shape switch and bass, mid, treble controls. Powered by single 9v battery. I bought it used a while ago with an idea in mind but that never happened!! Looking for £20 for this. Cheers

3. Found this add on Gumtree for an Ashdown combo and cab in Dundee at £40 each. https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-bass-amplifiers/2x-large-amps./1181900477
4. Please could you let me know if the head comes off this combo so you could use that desperately if wanted. Cheers
5. I have a little used Schaller 2000 series bridge in black for a 4 string bass. Very good condition - a couple of marks where the grub screws touch the baseplate but thats about it. Only selling as I replaced this with wooden piezo bridge on one of my own builds and I have no other basses thas would fit! £50 posted. Cheers
6. Mart recently bought a USA SUB Sterling bass from me. Dead easy transaction and great communication - could have chatted for hours, shame work gets in the way!! Thanks again Jez
7. Still plodding along with this one......scarf joint has turned out quite nicely in the end. Quite please for my first attempt at this. Be interesting to see how it looks when shaped though!!
8. Just in case anyone wants to buy a copy, you can get it from The Works for £2. Cheers
9. Go for it Ian. Always nice to see what you are building!! Cheers
10. Cheers for the comments. I'm continuing on with the other half of this build - had a go at a scarf joint for the first time. Not too bad, not perfectly square but will be fine for what I want. Truss rod arrived for this today so this neck will progress a bit over the next week or so (I hope...!)
11.
Think i'll put the tuners on at a jaunty angle Warwick style.. ....? Ian
Looking really nice!!! I'd go for the tuners being straight rather than angled - just my preference but will look cracking either way. Cheers Jez
12. Tony bought a Peavey practice amp from me. Great communication and very easy to deal with. Many thanks and I hope it serves you well. Thanks Jez
13. Cheers for all the positive comments - they really are appreciated. To date, I haven't ever made a bass for anyone else nor have I ever tried to sell any of my own basses but from the comments from recent bass bashes and from here I think this is something I should maybe try at some point, so thank you for the encouragement! Ian, waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh - that Pangborn is lovely........ Cheers Jez
