1. Thank you for your posts, first of all. Ok, I will try to manually bend the neck, that's an option I haven't explored yet. I guess that the lighter gauge strings will do their trick as well. Maybe the neck replacement won't be necessary, afterall. This bass is not top notch, I already knew that when I bought it, but it's playable as it is, and I hope to get nice sounds from it. Need to level the expectations here. Nevertheless, if anybody knows of a fellow bass player who has already made the neck swap, please let me know. I'm curious about what could fit. Take care, JP
2. BTW, In a few days I will try to change the strings from a 0.45 kit to a 0.40 one, maybe things will get a little bit better... Let me know what you think, please! Tks, JP
3. Hello, Thank you for your reply. I recently bought this Fleabass for cheap and my idea was to do the emg pickup mod and give it a nice setup with fresh strings. That would be it. However, I found it to have an exagerated concave bow as soon as I got the bass. Not unplayable, but unconfortable. So I gave the truss rod a few turns (not all at the same time!) to see what happened. It's much better now, imprpved a lot, but I want it to have a lower action. I suppose the truss is already pretty tightened up. That's why I'm trying to collect some information regarding the possible neck replacements in case I need to do it. If I'm aware it could get a really nice low action I wouldn't mind to perform the mod and spare some money for it. As I said, I got it fairly cheap. Once again, thank you! Take care, JP
4. Hi there, Just wondering which neck could be an appropriate replacement for a Fleabass Street model. Did anybody need to do such thing? If so, which neck did you use? Did it go well? Thank you in advance. All the best, JP
5. Up for a trade for my Modulus Quantum 5? Bartolini pickups and preamp, quilted maple finish, mint condition. Send me a PM if you're interested. Thanks! JP
6. Hello, I would like to trade my 2001 Modulus Quantum 5 for a 4 string bass in the same price and quality range. I'm definitely not a 5er, so this has nothing to do with the bass, which, in fact, sounds incredibly well and is a beautiful piece of art. The bass is in *mint* condition, not even has small dings or whatsoever. Specs: Body: Alder with quilted maple top Neck: Graphite, with truss rod. 35" scale PU's and electronics: Bartolini (extra) Hardware in black. Straplocks It ships with an original Modulus hardcase. This picture is taken from the Modulus' website gallery, but my bass is pretty close to this one. I can send you some pictures of the real bass via e-mail. I'm located in Portugal. If you have any question, please send me a PM and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you! 7. Hello, I've got a BDDI programmable for sale, boxed, in very good condition (it has a very small chip on the paint, which was covered with a black paint marker). Goes for 165€ + shipping [Portugal]. Might accept some trades too, just tell me what you've got! I'll also trade my Tech 21 Leeds for your VT Bass, preferably V2. Mine is good as new, boxed as well. Pics by e-mail. Thank you in advance, All the best, JP

9. Hello, the title says it all, i'm looking forward to trade my Sansamp BDDI prog and Boss PN-2 for your VT Bass (V2) and Pigtronix EP-2. I could be interested in a Ring Thing from EHX, as well... The BDDI prog ships in its original box with the manuals; nothing to be noted in the pedal aside from a small 'chip' in the paint, which was fixed with a thick black paint marker, and looks just fine. It is in excelent shape. I don't have the PN-2's box, but this pedal really looks like a new one. It is in perfect shape. Happy to send you some pics by mail, if you're interested. Thank you, JP PS: Feedback (Thanks, JimBob!!!)
10. Hi, I'm selling an Akai Unibass in perfect condition; I don't have its original box, neither any specific power supply. Will send pics via e-mail to interested people. I'm asking for 135£ / 162€ (plus shipping) which is approximately what I'm about to spend in a Catalinbread Heliotrope. Paypal accepted, of course! I will also consider trading my Unibass for your Heliotrope, if it appears to be in good shape. I don't post much in this forum and I don't have any 'feedback' around here but I've already made a couple of deals with some experienced BC'ers, from whom you can get some info about me. If you have any questions, please send a PM. Thank you! JP
11. Silent Bob: You should also check this out: Lightwave It's not a cheap alternative, but you won't be needing to quit the bass playing, for sure! Take care, wish you the best. JP
