    May be worth us all taking a step back to the Car ownership example, where the log book does not prove ownership you are the keeper. The scrappy piece of paper that says Received from J.Smith £3k for Car reg ABC123A is what counts We should and i have done, but more recently got out of the habit of asking for a receipt when buying large items say a Bass at £2000. mainly for tax returns but knowing this receipt showed i was the rightful owner at this time. Lets face it how many basses and cabs on here have been owned by 3,4,5 of us and all past owners have pictures and written down serial numbers ??

    Thanks Guys - just joined Ampband - I am already with Allianz but only have £2m PLI not enough for the next gig. Allianz runs out in Sept and was £165 which is cheaper than the MU my previous MU at £240, but admit did not cover all the same level of benefits. Just wish the MU provided the flexible cover Ampband clearly are, also see Hencilla Canworth lltd are the Insurers for both. So come on MU what about representing the needs of the weekend warrior - semi pro muso's.

    I have never made the jump, but some one once said - keep it low and and if lost play D ? no one will notice The other thing as an electric player i have learned from the upright guys - is the use of open notes, they use it to re tune the ear to adjust hand position but I find this also gives you time to re-position your left hand when the piece goes high or low. Some older big band parts really lend themselves to open notes, so for me this departure from always playing fretted notes has opened up my playing style. Has also made some difficult numbers easier with open notes because that's how it was originally played. all the best

    I'm back to two now - MB500 and the Markbass LMK have gone and just have the SWR and D800 so can run my two 4 ohm cabs off either Just need to sort the three PA's out now

    Sold I seem to have four Amps which is a little O.T.T, so two have to go. First up the GK MB fusion 500 Great little amp to grab on your way out of the door, so has been my go to amp for most of my Big band rehearsals over the last couple of years, and a few Jazz gigs. Full working order well looked after and comes with a padded computer bag. just big enough to keep it snug and take the wires. foot switch and cable included but not used in anger. yours for 425 posted to you in UK.
