1. +1 for the Nova Dynamic NDY-1. IMO one of the best pedal-compressors! I can recommend a Cali76. Versatile and really nice sounding compression with a lot of settings. But this pedal is huge!
2. Boss LS-2 Line Selector You can switch between two loops. And a few more switching tools...
3. Try a Boss LS-2: This pedal should do, what you want...
4. I have tried to review the BH500 and I have tried to compare this new amp with my Music Man 100B: Klick (sorry, my english isn't sooo good, so it is in german only. Google Translater isn't the best way...)
Is there any drive or breakup available from the Gain control?
I would say no. This amp is designed to always stay clean. There isn't a way, to overdrive the sound.
5.
Looking forward to hearing your comments...
Sorry, only in german:Klick
6. I have tested both amp a few minutes at lower volume at home. It seems that they are very similar... Veyron T:
7. Jepp, sorry... But wherever you write something about the Veyron, the first answer is something like that. Over and over again... Ok, I will compare this amps at our practice session today...
8.
Oh wait.. Bugera Veyron. My bad!
To say it like Homer...
9. The comparison can begin:
10. I love this little monster:
11. Bought a Trace Elliot Twin Valve from Grahame. He shipped very quickly and very well packaged. The condition of the amps was as described. Very nice contact! Thank you!
12. Really cool preamp. I own two of them...
13. My Trace Elliots:
14. One of the most versatile preamp that I know, and I know a lot of preamps... More Informations here: klick

16.
disssa, did you once own an HD130? Comparison?
I own a HD150 and a HD65. The sound of the BH500 is always clear, even on high volume. The HD150 and HD65 are "loud" and clear amps too, but they start to cracking at higher volumes. I think, that these amps are not comparable.
17.
Ooh! That would look a bobbydazzler on top of one of my vintage-silver-grille-cloth BF cabs! Looks like the controls are not the same as a LM3. disssa, I think I'm right in saying you have a nice collection of valve heads - how does this hold up against them? Any chance of a sound clip or two?
I got the amp yesterday an played a 4 hours practice session. First impressions: a really powerful and versatile Amp, good working EQ.
18. My new test-object:
19.
I'll post some better pics when my new valves arrive.. A V4 and a V8 would be bass heaven! Oh and a V6 for good measure!
I owned a V6, but I never found a V4 to complete my collection of Valve Types... So I sold the V6...
20. Nice, on the board of my V8 is a warning "Voltage og up to 800 Volt may be present on this pcb" I love my Valve-Types:
21. Withdrawn...
22. Really nice sounding Tube Bass Preamp. It also can be used as a 5 Watt Tube-Amp for Bass and guitar! Some more infos: Klick Review from harmony-central: "Very intuitive bass preamp/recording amp. There is a gain knob and a master knob, as well as a general "tone" knob. You can get a huge range of very usable sounds just by turning these knobs. It also has three boost buttons (bass, mid, treble) that do exactly what you expect. There are several different outputs, depending on whether you are running it into a mixer, amp, etc. A diagram on top of the unit explains each option very clearly. It has a tube preamp section (12ax7) and a power amp section (el84). When recording, you can run through the tube power amp or bypass it by pushing a switch. ...The B.A.T.T. provides a beefy bass tone that sits perfectly in the mix; I rarely have to EQ the bass after recording. By comparison, my prior bass recordings sound weak and fuzzy. The B.A.T.T. can do any bass sound you want, from tube-y to solid state, from clean to overdriven. Condition: as seen on the pics. Price incl. shipping to UK main
