1. Price drop! £2000ono / open to offers/PX etc.
2. Definitely for sale. Extremely open to offers.
3. [s]On hold pending collection. [/s] Sold
4. 4x guitar stands, the taller style with neck support. 1 Stagg, 1 Warwick Rockstand, 2 generic unbranded. Used but functional. £5 each, all 4 for £15, or a similar donation to a mutually agreeable charity. I can put a picture up once I work out where my new phone is saving them. Collection only for now from Glasgow G51.
5. I learned that it should be sticky enough that you should be able to move the string without making it vibrate.
6. Super-light Elixirs (which in this case means 40-95 +125) 4 lyfe.
7. Bump. I guess this isn't really a feeler any more -- if you'd like more images or measurements do shout. I'm open to offers, trades, and haggling. A decent ~6 string bass guitar + a slice of cash would be tough to refuse :-)
8. Nice setup! \m/
9. 7digital seems like a good shout, thanks.
10. Might just go back to buying CDs and ripping them myself for stuff that's not on Bandcamp or similar, to be honest. Although I was hoping to cut down on physical media as I'm already running out of space.
11.
Have you tried Junodownload.com it's mostly dance music but they have many genres of music. Currently filling the gaps in my p funk collection! You can pay using paypal too.
Misread 'balearic' as 'barbaric' in the genre list and got a little too excited
12. I'm kind of old fashioned, in that I don't really like streaming as my main source of music. I like to download DRM-free mp3s. I buy a lot of stuff via Bandcamp, but lots of stuff isn't there. I'd like to try and avoid Amazon (because of unpleasant business practices) and I'd rather saw my own leg off with a spoon than use iTunes. Where else can are people buying mp3s from these days?
13. Back to the top for July. Always happy to listen to offers.
14. Sold dad40bass a bass recently -- he was a pleasure to deal with, swift payment and no issues whatsoever. Thanks again!
15. Dan bought a bass from me recently -- no problems at all. Been a pleasure to deal with. Cheers Kyle
16. https://soundcloud.com/velvetkevorkian/dissertation-hand-in-groove Bump complete with a soundclip of this guitar in drop A from last year
17. Last bump for a while, not desperate to sell but feel free to make me an offer.
18. PX for an EUB or 5+ string fretless bass guitar? This is now taking up space that an imminently incoming velvetkevorkian jr is likely to require.
19. 7 string guitar, set up in standard tuning with a low B. This was a Cash Converters find a couple of years ago. As you can see it's taken a few knocks before it arrived with me, notably on the tip of the headstock and one chip in the finish on the top edge. Some buckle rash but nothing visible on the front of the body, with its lovely red quilted top. Neck is totally fine, truss rod works, nice low action. Slightly extended scale, I think 26 or 26.5 inches, all the better to downtune with. Only selling because I picked up an RG8 recently which I prefer. Asking £150, collect from Glasgow G51 area near the south side of the Clyde tunnel or I can post for about £25 in the UK. If you need a case I think I have a generic gigbag I can add for an extra tenner. Not really looking for trades, although feel free to try me. (I've tried to show the damaged parts in the pictures -- you should be able to click through to a full size version on Flickr, let me know if there's anything you'd like a closer shot of).
