  3. Official weight is 8-9kg. It's a easy two finger lift.
  4. This amp is now £400 on Amazon. Incredible. I will drop the price for the amp, adapter, pedalboard and case to £500, which is still a good deal I think, but I really cannot go any lower. If it doesn't sell at this price I will just keep it as a spare.
  5. Can we go back to the first statement in the thread. Please justify four basses to yourself otherwise many of us are in deep trouble…..
  6. I did think that myself, quite an artistic walk in to the stage area. Well done your Mrs. Now is she available to hire for other gigs 😂 Dave
  7. 99 Luftballons - Nena
  8. Yep. Sounds absolutely atrocious via an amp, but has a really nice bark and growl when running through a DI. 😑 Either way, the lollipop tuners have been ordered, so the conversion can slowly start.
  9. That's works with me, I'll send you a PM with the details.
  10. We played a festival gig and I came equipped with my brand new mic to broadcast my carefully crafted tone to the masses. Drama unfolded. "Here's your DI" "I got two basses and a 2 channel preamp and this neato flat mic all set to go" "Just give us the DI" "How about listening to the mic?" "Just give us the DI" BL jumps in with some complaints that I am the most difficult bass player he ever worked with. DI gets my mic lead and away we go. The drummer's 2x15 plus horn monitor completely obliterates what is coming from my poxy 210. It sounds pukka except it is drowning out the band. Sound person accuses me of sandbagging and wants me to turn down. The drum monitor gets turned down some but still louder than my cab. More complaints that I am blowing up the mix, with my 210 pointed up at me, on a festival stage. We haven’t been invited back.
  11. That's what i've used altho it came in a roll approx 25-30mm wide. Dave
  12. She’s a very smooth walker to judge by that first minute or so. fine choice of tune, sir
  13. Not really much to take a pic of and didn't think it was worthwhile bothering you. I'll take some when i do the bridge pick up tho as i hate to disappoint you guys. Dave
  14. Here's some food for thought. Some are nicer than others -- I particularly like no.7, although it's not a folding one. 35 DIY Guitar Stand Plans You Can Build - Handy Keen
  15. Goddammit it sounds good too! That's really not helpful.
  16. Yep have to say it sounds ok out front there. How weird that must have been playing with a Vulcan bomber in front of you. That's one you won't forget. Dave
  17. Luxury! Why, when I were a lad ...
  18. Very decent piece of rack gear, equally suitable for studio or live use (I've used it both ways). The two multi-way cable clips on top are there by self-adhesive stuff and will remove. I found them useful enough to choose to leave them there for the new owner. The original box is present, as seen in the photos, but not the polystyrene inserts. I'll use bubble wrap for postage. 19. Very little used since Covid, time to move it on. Comes with all the little bits of cabling etc. Condition is as near pristine as you're likely to find. Full specs are here: https://philjonesbass.net/cms/product-ha-1/

  20. My eye (yes, I have two. Don't worry...) was caught by the cool looking lever at the top of the bridge - does this amazingly manly bass have a lever that deploys the string mutes? Bet MusicMan wish they'd thought of that before adding those fiddly tiny metal round screws under the bridges of Classic Stingrays. Seriously impressed by the intonation calibration markings on the bridge as well. If Bang & Olufsen made basses, they would make basses like this.
